Your Role
As a (Senior) Python Data Engineer at RoomPriceGenie, you'll step into an exciting, fast-paced role at a rapidly growing B2B SaaS company. You'll take on diverse and impactful responsibilities that drive our success, including:
Collaborate with a small team of experienced developers using Python and Django to deliver innovative solutions.
Design and build automated ETL data pipelines that streamline data flow and processing.
Develop and maintain a robust codebase for efficient data processing—your work will be integral to our operations.
Foster a strong engineering organization and vibrant development culture within your team—let's grow together!
Evolve our architecture to seamlessly scale with the increasing demands of users, features, and data.
Partner closely with Product and Design teams, taking full ownership of projects from conception to post-deployment in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Your Profile
3+ years of professional development experience with Python Data Engineering, ideally with Snowflake —you're seasoned and ready to tackle new challenges.
Strong background in data processing and extracting insights from large datasets to drive decision-making.
Familiarity with essential libraries such as pandas, NumPy, and more to streamline your workflows.
Proven experience in creating data architectures and developing ETL pipelines for efficient data management.
Advanced knowledge of Python development libraries, particularly Django, to build robust applications.
Deep understanding of software design principles to ensure quality and maintainability in your work.
Excellent communication skills—you can articulate complex ideas clearly and collaborate effectively.
High ownership mentality—you take pride in your work and drive projects to completion.
A true team player, egoless and empathetic, who thrives in a collaborative environment.
Fluent in English, able to engage in technical discussions with ease.
Based in the European Time Zone (UTC+0 / UTC+2) to align with our team’s schedules.

Hands-on experience with:
Dagster or similar tools for orchestration
DBT (data build tool) for data transformation and modeling in the data warehouse
