Regional Team Lead

What You Will Do:

As Regional Team Lead, you will have responsibility for the leadership, mentoring and development of a team of Audio-Visual Technicians on the island of Ireland. Involved in the day-to-day installation activity, the Regional Team Lead will provide guidance on how to deliver projects to the EOS standard. When required, the Regional Team Lead will provide the necessary training to ensure EOS standards are maintained and ensure a training program is in place to address ongoing development of the team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build trust between team members, inspiring and motivating teamwork for achieving goals.
  • Hold regular one to one meetings with team members and provide opportunities to contribute to process improvement and team direction. Utilise these sessions to set goals in support of achieving the overall company objectives and identify opportunities for career growth.
  • Foster EOS culture within the team.
  • Participate in the development of the EOS standards and providing ideas on how existing standards can be improved. (Interrogate standards)
  • Ensure all employees receive appropriate training to maintain compliance with established company and regulatory guidelines and procedures and provide high quality service and outstanding customer care.
  • Train new employees on EOS / client standards.
  • Provide cost analysis and ensure effective budget management.
  • Provide support to the Project Management team in the utilisation of technicians’ specific skill sets to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Participate in the recruitment and selection of new team members.

Essential criteria:

  • Experience as an Audio Visual Lead or Supervisor required.
  • 5 years’ experience in the field, installing Audio Visual hardware on large scale projects.
  • Ability to understand and interpret schematics and technical drawings.
  • Must be responsive, have excellent stakeholder management skills and exhibit a high level of professionalism.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
  • Good organisation and time management skills with proven ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must have critical thinking and problem-solving ability.
  • Be flexible and adaptable to change and hours of work to meet the needs of the customer.

Desirable criteria:

  • Worked on large scale General Contractor led projects.
  • Configuration of typical Audio-Visual hardware (Crestron, Biamp, QSC, Extron, Cisco, Poly (HP), Logitech, Zoom, Neat, Shure etc.)
  • AVIXA CTS Certification is desired, with plans to complete CTS-I in the future
  • Familiarity with Health & Safety regulations (relevant certification would be beneficial)
