As Regional Sales Manager, you will lead and empower a high-performing sales and technical team to execute the Diabetes Operating Unit (OU) commercial strategy and achieve Annual Operating Plan (AOP) targets. Collaborating closely with Marketing, Sales, and Education teams, you will drive market share growth by delivering value-added services and promoting the Diabetes product portfolio. Your leadership will focus on executing strategic initiatives, fostering partnerships with healthcare providers, and building brand loyalty.
A success candidate will cover the area of East and West Midlands, Oxfordshire, Gloucestershire, Hampshire and Cornwall.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

  • Develop and execute district plans and sales strategies aligned with corporate objectives
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in the purchasing process to enhance Medtronic’s brand presence
  • Analyse market size, competitive landscape, and sales data to identify growth opportunities and cost efficiencies
  • Regularly assess sales performance vs. targets and take timely action to address deviations
  • Manage, coaching and support sales teams through field visits and ongoing competency evaluations
  • Actively engage with healthcare providers to drive product adoption and build long-term partnership
  • Leverage data-driven insights to refine sales strategies and enhance execution

Required Knowledge and Experience:

  • Strong commercial expertise in healthcare sales, with a proven history of driving revenue growth
  • Demonstrate success in leading and developing high-performing sales teams
  • Experience in a highly competitive market, with the ability to use data to drive decision-making
  • Strong negotiation skills and business acumen, with the ability to influence key stakeholders
  • Excellent communication and coaching abilities, with a history of talent development
  • Initiative-taking with a strategic mindset
