Regional Sales Manager - United Kingdom and Scandinavian countries

Job Purpose

To identify, pursue and negotiate sales for our capital equipment product range in your area: United Kingdom and Scandinavian countries, and support the development of the wider Global business strategy for our EMEA team and APAC team, having close contact with the other brands of our Division.

Main Duties

  • Maintain and grow relationships with your customers through contacts and regular visits
  • Understand the customer’s needs relative to Bakery market: our solutions are unique, the expectations and needs of our customers are to be uncovered
  • Lead the pre-sales and support teams, for the preparation of proposals, as we have long sales cycle – this can also include advice for our colleagues from other brands
  • Negotiate and secure orders and contracts that are profitable, commercially secure and technically sound
  • Prospect for sales opportunities, initiate meetings to promote our solutions, become a real ambassador for our brand and the other brands of our Group
  • Become an advisor for colleagues from other areas that may need information about our expertise

Candidate Profile

  • Ability to sell bespoke and high-value products, with long sales cycles - ideally, experience in capital sales (serving customers from Food & Beverage Industry, for example)
  • Area sales experience, at least in UK
  • Location: United Kingdom
  • Willing to travel in a large territory (around 50%)
  • Cultural openness, flexible and adaptable personality
  • Ability to coordinate colleagues for multi-companies projects and give advice about the market and expertise
  • Ability to work away from home base for extended periods of time, but able to keep contact with our presales teams or with other colleagues from the Group
