ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Generates sustainable sales across Volk’s diagnostic imaging, ophthalmic lens, and surgical systems product lines
- Develops a deep understanding of this market, the segments, size, competition, and opportunities
- Develops and executes the sales and growth strategy for the region
- Conducts direct sales to end-users for products where required
- Represents Volk at industry trade shows
- Provides Sales Training for Distributors
- Supports sales to ophthalmology residency and fellowship programs and schools of optometry
- Drives the creation of sales/marketing collateral for this region with support from head office
- Contributes new ideas for marketing Volk products and for new product design
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must live in Eastern Europe
- Must have prior eye care experience in a selling/sales role capacity.
- A Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in Science, Engineering, or Business.
- Minimum of 4 years sales experience in medical device or pharmaceutical sales required
- Previous sales leadership and/or sales training experience preferred
TRAVEL
This position will require approximately 75% travel. Most of the travel will be by air, so candidates located near major cities/airports within the region will have an advantage.
