About the role

The Regional Account Representative is responsible for the growth and development of the Brands within independent specialist defined channels and other given market sectors, in line with the Brand-Company objectives and operating standards.

What you’ll do in the role

  • Service all viable Independent Channels and National Accounts as well as identifying appropriate new accounts in line with company objectives.
  • Able to manage a suite of KPI’s to deliver Regional and National targets.
  • Effectively manage the territory journey plan to maximize sales output and achieve all sales and margin targets set.
  • Maintain territory administration and reporting documents to a high standard
  • Develop joint business plans with key independent customers to work collaboratively and identify opportunities to maximize sustainable growth.
  • Train and educate store staff on the features and benefits of the Brands range in order for them to be able to recommend the Brand’s products to consumers.
  • Provide support to train staff for national accounts when required as well as relevant trade shows and functions.
  • Analyze territory performance and produce accurate and timely reports to the Sales Manager.
  • Ensure accounts adhere to agreed company payment terms and address any issues in a timely manner.
  • Carry out any other reasonable task or tasks relating to the job function, as requested

What will help you do the job well

🗝 Essential:

  • Degree level education or equivalent with proven experience of managing a sales territory preferably within a retail and FMCG environment
  • Minimum of 2 years sales experience
  • Knowledge of the local Retail Sector
  • Proficient in all MS Office tools – Excel and PowerPoint in particular
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written), French a plus.
