Your contribution to Prysmian's Success:

We’re searching for a Quality Engineer to join our team at our Livorno plant.

Reporting to the Quality Manager of the plant, you will:

  • Manage the day-to-day activities of our state-of-the-art laboratory, ensuring the highest quality in product testing and analysis.

  • Create, implement, and monitor laboratory procedures to ensure all the tests and analyses meet established scientific standards.

  • Work closely with R&D, production, and engineering teams to understand their testing needs and develop comprehensive plans, cost estimates, and schedules.

  • Research, evaluate, and recommend new technologies, equipment, and systems to enhance laboratory performance.

  • Collaborate with R&D and Process departments to identify and prevent test failures.

  • Maintain rigorous standards for accuracy and safety in all laboratory procedures.

  • Organize and conduct FATs with customers.

  • Lead safety initiatives for all laboratory activities.

You are the right fit if you have/are: 

  • Engineering degree

  • Fluency in English

  • Up to 2 years experience

  • Strong communication & interpersonal skills 

  • Decision making attitude, critical thinking and problem-solving skills 

  • Strong teamwork skills, results oriented and ambitious mindset
