  • Analyze quality and process performance data using statistical tools (e.g., Minitab, JMP, Excel) and deliver clear, actionable insights to leadership.
  • Build organizational capability by developing and delivering training on Lean, Six Sigma, problem‑solving, SOPs, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Partner with cross‑functional teams—including Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Customer Support—to embed quality into processes and support external audits and certifications.
  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement rooted in process ownership, accountability, and recognition of meaningful quality and efficiency gains.

You Must Have:

  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience in quality management or quality engineering within a manufacturing setting, showing the ability to improve production processes, enhance capability, and sustain shop‑floor performance.
  • Strong analytical capability, including data‑driven decision making, statistical process control, capability studies, and root cause analysis.
  • Proficiency with manufacturing quality systems such as document control platforms, quality record systems, and ERP tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are needed to collaborate closely with production, engineering, maintenance, and supply chain teams, and to train operators and supervisors on quality standards.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability in driving change, coaching others, influencing without direct authority, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational discipline in a plant environment.

We Would Also Prefer:

  • Experience in ISO 9001 auditing.
  • Knowledge of risk management and corrective action systems.
  • Bachelor’s Degree.

What you need to know about the Belfast Tech Scene

If asked to name the birthplace of the RMS Titanic, you might not say Belfast. Similarly, if asked to name Europe's leading destination for foreign direct investment in new software development, Belfast might not come to mind. Yet, both are true. The city has emerged as a tech powerhouse, recently ranked among the best in the U.K. for tech careers — especially for software developers. It also leads the U.K. with the highest percentage of software development jobs advertised.
