We’re seeking an ambitious QA Engineer with strong communication skills, strong work ethic, and the ability and desire to work in an exciting and demanding environment.
This role can be based anywhere within the EU.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review and analyze system specifications and business requirements for product features.
- Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
- Execute manual and automated test cases for web, mobile, and API testing.
- Prepare test data and assist with production data preparation when needed.
- Identify, document, and track bugs using tools like JIRA or similar.
- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and designers to understand requirements and resolve issues.
- Conduct regression testing and participate in release cycles.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of automated testing frameworks.
- Validate third-party integrations.
- Monitor and report on quality metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Continuously improve testing processes and advocate for QA best practices.
REQUIREMENTS
- 2–4 years of experience in QA, preferably in an eCommerce environment.
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, andprocesses
- Experience with manual testing and some exposure toautomation
- Familiarity with Agile development processes
- Proficiency in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive testplans and test cases
- Knowledge of API testing tools (e.g., Postman, REST Assured)
- Basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases
- Experience testing responsive web and mobile applications
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Detail-oriented with a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
