  • Drive delivery of software projects including new product releases, platform development, and feature enhancements.
  • Oversee hardware initiatives including development of physical security products from initial design, prototyping, through mass production
  • Track project performance, deliverables, schedules, and budgets; provide regular updates to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Facilitate waterfall, agile, and hybrid project methodologies as appropriate to the workstream.
  • Proactively identify and resolve issues, risks, and bottlenecks impacting project outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of project management experience, preferably in technology and product development environments.
  • Proven success managing both software and hardware product initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of product development life cycles, including business case development, product definition, development, testing, launch, and sustainment.

  • Solid knowledge of project management tools and methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills.
  • CAPM, PMP, Agile, or related certifications (a plus).
  • Experience in physical security, manufacturing, IoT, or embedded systems is a strong advantage.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with PPM tools for project tracking and status reporting.
  • Experience working on software development projects, with a strong understanding of Agile methodologies and the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)

What you need to know about the Belfast Tech Scene

If asked to name the birthplace of the RMS Titanic, you might not say Belfast. Similarly, if asked to name Europe's leading destination for foreign direct investment in new software development, Belfast might not come to mind. Yet, both are true. The city has emerged as a tech powerhouse, recently ranked among the best in the U.K. for tech careers — especially for software developers. It also leads the U.K. with the highest percentage of software development jobs advertised.
