At Too Good To Go, we have an ambitious goal: to inspire and empower everyone to fight food waste together.

40% of all food produced in the world is wasted. And that has a huge impact on the health of our planet, with 10% of greenhouse gas emissions coming from food waste.

Our app connects businesses with consumers to save unsold food. Since 2016, we’ve grown to become the largest food-saving marketplace in Europe, with over 120 million users and more than 453 million meals saved.

We’re now looking for a Project Manager to support a large-scale technical transformation programme across our global Commercial organisation, including the implementation of VOIP technology and operational tools across multiple markets.

Working closely with the Senior Programme Manager, Commercial teams, Tech, Product, Operations and external vendors, you’ll take ownership of defined workstreams and drive them from planning through to implementation and adoption.

This is a hands-on role for someone who combines strong project delivery skills, technical understanding and a proactive, independent approach.

Please note: This is a 12 month fixed term contract.

Your Mission

You’ll turn programme objectives into clear delivery plans, coordinate stakeholders, manage dependencies and risks, and ensure implementations are delivered successfully.

The Senior Programme Manager will set the overall programme direction. You’ll independently drive your workstreams forward, bring structure to ambiguity, solve problems proactively and escalate decisions when needed.

Your Role

Project Delivery

  • Own workstreams from planning through to implementation and adoption, managing milestones, timelines, dependencies and risks.

  • Bring structure to complex or ambiguous situations, proactively identifying solutions and driving decisions and actions.

  • Maintain delivery momentum, adapting plans as priorities and requirements evolve.

Technology Implementation

  • Work with Tech, Product and external vendors to understand system requirements, integrations, dependencies and technical constraints.

  • Coordinate testing, UAT, issue resolution and go-live readiness.

  • Translate between technical and commercial stakeholders, ensuring solutions support business needs and operational processes.

Stakeholder Management & Adoption

  • Build strong relationships across Commercial, Tech, Product, Operations and external partners.

  • Lead working sessions, align stakeholders and communicate progress, risks and decisions clearly.

  • Coordinate rollouts across markets, ensuring processes, training and ways of working are ready for implementation.

What We're Looking For
  • Project delivery experience: A track record of independently managing projects, workstreams or implementations, ideally involving technology or operational transformation.

  • Technical understanding: Confidence working with technical teams and vendors, understanding systems, integrations and dependencies, and learning new platforms quickly. You don’t need to be a developer, but you must be comfortable engaging with technical detail.

  • Stakeholder management: Ability to bring business and technical teams together, manage competing priorities and drive decisions.

  • Ownership and problem-solving: A proactive, structured and pragmatic approach, with the ability to navigate ambiguity, anticipate risks and drive outcomes independently.

  • Relevant experience: Experience with commercial or customer-facing teams is beneficial. Familiarity with VOIP, telephony, CRM or contact centre platforms is a plus.

We’re looking for someone who takes ownership, communicates confidently, adapts quickly and follows through to ensure things get delivered.

What you need to know about the Belfast Tech Scene

If asked to name the birthplace of the RMS Titanic, you might not say Belfast. Similarly, if asked to name Europe's leading destination for foreign direct investment in new software development, Belfast might not come to mind. Yet, both are true. The city has emerged as a tech powerhouse, recently ranked among the best in the U.K. for tech careers — especially for software developers. It also leads the U.K. with the highest percentage of software development jobs advertised.
