Who We Are:
TriNetX connects healthcare organizations and researchers across the globe so they can see what’s happening in real patient populations—not guesses, not simulations.

Our aim is simple and ambitious: Provide a clear path to trustworthy answers, whether your goal is to create promising new therapies, publish groundbreaking research, or improve health outcomes.

At TriNetX, we enable life sciences, healthcare, and academic institutions to strengthen human health—with data you can trace, evidence you can defend, and answers you can trust.

Who We Are Looking For:

The Project Manager II leads the end-to-end delivery of projects across the TriNetX cPMO portfolio, managing the planning, execution, and monitoring of multiple concurrent engagements to ensure high-quality, on-time outcomes aligned with strategic, contractual, and customer objectives. Reporting to the Senior Director, cPMO, this role serves as a primary point of contact for customers and internal stakeholders, coordinates across cross-functional teams, and drives continuous improvement of delivery practices.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Project leadership & delivery: Lead planning, execution, and monitoring of multiple concurrent delivery projects, ensuring alignment with strategic, contractual, and customer objectives.
  • Planning: Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, milestones, and workstreams in collaboration with internal stakeholders and senior leadership.
  • Tracking & mitigation: Monitor progress using project management tools (Jira, Confluence, MS Teams, SharePoint, Salesforce, Certinia/FinancialForce), identify bottlenecks, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • On-time delivery: Ensure delivery of high-quality, on-time project outputs and milestones; prioritize needs across a portfolio and communicate regularly with senior leadership to maintain alignment with strategic goals.
  • Commercials & agreements: Create, review, and monitor project timelines and invoicing; execute consultant agreements and subcontracting arrangements as required; and record, distribute, and track actions and decisions from project meetings.
  • Influence: Use influencing skills to accomplish project goals through people over whom the role has no direct authority.
  • Customer & stakeholder management: Serve as a primary point of contact for customers and internal stakeholders, building strong relationships, addressing concerns promptly, and organizing, moderating, and documenting project meetings.
  • Reporting: Compile status and final reports for customers, internal stakeholders, and senior leadership.
  • Product development & platform evolution: Contribute to platform enhancement initiatives at the intersection of product and delivery, including evaluating new features, use cases, and customer-segment requirements, and translating delivery and customer insights into inputs for the product roadmap in partnership with Product Management.
  • Presales & business development support: Support presales and business development activities, including feasibility assessments and demonstration coordination, and translate customer feedback into potential product enhancements in coordination with Presales, Business Development, and Product functions.
  • Platform change & release management: Manage platform changes, customer upgrades, and impact assessments across the portfolio, and own release-related communications to customers and internal stakeholders to ensure readiness and minimal disruption.
  • Quality & compliance: Ensure adherence to quality standards, compliance requirements, internal SOPs, and applicable clinical or regulatory guidelines throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (bioinformaticians, quality management, product, engineering) to define objectives, deliverables, and timelines, and coordinate seamlessly to ensure smooth execution and alignment.
  • Process improvement & PMO development: Conduct post-project evaluations to capture lessons learned, contribute to post-award best practices and the development and revision of SOPs and work instructions, and drive continuous improvement of project management activities and operational workflows.

What You Bring to TriNetX:

  • 3+ years of project management experience, ideally in SaaS platform delivery.
  • Bachelor's degree in a natural science or comparable education.
  • Proficiency with project management methodologies and experience in operational planning and implementation of complex projects.
  • Proven ability to manage several projects in parallel, with strong prioritization and time-management skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Experience interacting with clients and providing customer-focused service.
  • High degree of initiative, resourcefulness, and a solution-oriented approach.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications and strong experience with IT and AI solutions.
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, agile, and international environment; fluency in English.

Preferred:

  • Strong genomics background.
  • Experience collaborating with presales, business development, or product-management functions.
  • PMP certification or equivalent; additional language skills besides English.

What you need to know about the Belfast Tech Scene

If asked to name the birthplace of the RMS Titanic, you might not say Belfast. Similarly, if asked to name Europe's leading destination for foreign direct investment in new software development, Belfast might not come to mind. Yet, both are true. The city has emerged as a tech powerhouse, recently ranked among the best in the U.K. for tech careers — especially for software developers. It also leads the U.K. with the highest percentage of software development jobs advertised.
