The Role
We are looking for an early-career Program Manager with a passion for data and an eagerness to track and analyse the progress of multiple areas within our Essentials Programme. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to drive alignment, transparency, and strategic decision-making by providing data-driven insights. You will monitor project progress, identify risks, and contribute to the successful delivery of multiple initiatives across teams.

As a cloud-based company, delivering frequent and high-quality product releases is at the heart of what we do. While deep technical expertise isn't required, you'll need to be comfortable working with technical teams and understanding dependencies to facilitate collaboration and communication across teams.

This position focuses on leveraging data to support project delivery, using structured processes to foster continuous improvement, and ensuring teams are empowered to execute with confidence throughout the Software Delivery Life Cycle (SDLC). You will collaborate with Engineers, Architects, Operations, Product Management, and other cross-functional teams to support each phase of the SDLC, helping drive process optimisation and clear communication across the organisation.

Your Day-to-Day
As a vital support partner to teams and senior stakeholders, you’ll drive visibility, alignment, and accountability across projects by leveraging strategic planning, reporting, and actionable insights:

  • Enable Team Collaboration & Problem-Solving: Support teams in identifying blockers, risks, and dependencies, providing insights to foster alignment and proactive issue resolution.

  • Plan & Coordinate Milestones: Assist in scheduling, preparing for, and coordinating project milestones and release planning, ensuring critical action items are well-documented and tracked.

  • Monitor Dashboards & Project Artefacts: Use tools like Excel and Power BI to maintain dashboards and key project artefacts, offering real-time insights on project status, risks, dependencies, and timelines.

  • Leverage Collaboration Tools: Employ JIRA, Confluence, Excel, and Power BI to ensure project transparency, provide insights, and align progress with commitments and deadlines.

  • Assess & Mitigate Change Impacts: Monitor change requests, evaluate their business implications, and support teams in developing risk mitigation strategies.

  • Analyse Metrics to Predict Outcomes: Collect and analyse key lifecycle metrics using Excel and Power BI to identify trends and provide strategic insights for informed decision-making.

  • Align on Security & Compliance Priorities: Collaborate with Product Management and Engineering leadership to prioritise security and compliance risks, aligning technical efforts with organisational goals.

  • Drive Process Improvements: Use data analysis (via Excel and Power BI) to support evidence-based decisions related to engineering operations and software delivery.

What You Bring to the Team

We’re seeking a detail-oriented, analytical professional with a passion for working with data, a strong desire to learn, and the ability to contribute to project delivery in a collaborative environment:

  • A keen interest in leveraging data and tools like Excel and Power BI to analyse trends, monitor progress, and inform decision-making.

  • Organisational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to managing priorities and following through on tasks.

  • A collaborative mindset with the ability to communicate clearly and objectively, fostering alignment across teams.

  • Adaptability, problem-solving capabilities, and a willingness to learn on the job and grow into project coordination responsibilities.

  • A strong sense of curiosity and enthusiasm for continuous improvement and optimising processes.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Atlassian toolset (JIRA, Confluence).

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Power BI for visualisation and reporting.

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Project or Smartsheet for project tracking and planning.

  • Exposure to email security or cybersecurity space.

  • Familiarity with the Software Delivery Life Cycle (SDLC) process.

If you like wild growth and working with happy, enthusiastic over-achievers, you'll enjoy your career with us!

What you need to know about the Belfast Tech Scene

If asked to name the birthplace of the RMS Titanic, you might not say Belfast. Similarly, if asked to name Europe's leading destination for foreign direct investment in new software development, Belfast might not come to mind. Yet, both are true. The city has emerged as a tech powerhouse, recently ranked among the best in the U.K. for tech careers — especially for software developers. It also leads the U.K. with the highest percentage of software development jobs advertised.
