Product Support – Application Specialist (Central East UK)

Ideal Location:  Grantham, Lincoln, or Boston

Are you ready to take on an exciting challenge in a pivotal support role within a dynamic team of Applications, Information Solutions, and Engineering Specialists? At Roche Diagnostics, we believe in empowering individuals to make a real difference through their expertise and dedication.

In this role, you will work with world-class diagnostic systems, primarily focusing on cobas chemistry and immunoassay analysers, as well as pre- & post-analytical solutions. With additional training, you'll expand your expertise to Molecular and Tissue Diagnostics solutions. Working closely with customers and internal teams, you’ll help ensure laboratories deliver high-quality, dependable results.

The Opportunity 

We are looking for a Product Support - Application Specialist to join our solution-focused team, serving high-profile customer accounts in the Central East region of the UK. This field-based role is perfect for someone eager to play a key part in providing proactive and reactive support for our customers through implementation, technical expertise, and system optimisation.

What does the role involve?

As part of a collaborative team of specialists, you will represent Roche’s commitment to excellence by delivering:

  • Implementation and Installation Support.

  • Laboratory Scientist Training on Roche systems.

  • Troubleshooting and Reactive Support for technical issues.

  • System Optimisation through workflow design and consultation.

  • Product Maintenance, Software Modifications, and Analytical Reviews.

  • Collaborative Support during tender responses, product demos, and consultations with third-party companies.

  • Location: Ideally based in the Grantham, Lincoln, or Boston area, or willing to relocate.

Travel:  Mainly support laboratories within the region, however, expected to travel across mainland UK if required.

Who You Are

This is a superb opportunity for a biomedical scientist, application support specialist, or someone with experience in the medical diagnostics industry to make a meaningful impact in a growing and innovative field.

  • Technical Expertise: Proven experience in troubleshooting and supporting pathology lab systems.

  • Customer-Focused: A passion for exceeding customer expectations and building strong relationships.

  • Excellent Communication Skills to liaise effectively with teams and customers.

  • Qualifications: A UK driving license and passport (essential).
