Job Overview:

As a Product Pricing Strategist, you will develop and implement data-driven pricing strategies for ThriveCart's $1.5 billion in annual GMV. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will evaluate customer growth, trends and behavior to optimize our pricing models to achieve growth business objectives. Your insights will play a crucial role in shaping how ThriveCart's products are positioned and monetized.

What Your Work Will Entail:

  • Design and implement pricing models that retain and win new customers to the business.
  • Conduct competitive analyses to ensure ThriveCart's pricing remains market-competitive and customer-friendly.
  • Stay at the forefront of industry development, with a focus on Stripe, Adyen and PayPal pricing solutions.
  • Explore new payment trends and options for our customer base, including branded debit/credit cards and cryptocurrencies.
  • Analyze customer usage data, purchase behavior, and revenue trends to identify pricing and incentive program opportunities.
  • Build and maintain financial models to assess the impact of pricing changes and scenarios.
  • Translate data insights into actionable pricing strategies that drive growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Work with product, marketing, and sales teams to align pricing strategies with go-to-market efforts.
  • Partner with finance and analytics teams to ensure accurate reporting and forecasting of pricing-related metrics.
  • Collaborate with customer success teams to gather feedback on pricing effectiveness and areas for improvement.
  • Design and execute pricing experiments (e.g., A/B tests) to validate assumptions and optimize performance.
  • Provide regular updates to stakeholders on pricing performance and recommend actionable changes.
  • Develop dashboards and reports to track the effectiveness of pricing initiatives.

What You Bring To This Role:

  • Experience with major payment platforms like Stipe, Ayden and PayPal.
  • Extensive experience in financial modeling and building data visualization tools.
  • Experience in a high-growth startup or fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
