As a member of the Product & Technology Operations organization, you will help manage the Atlassian platform roadmap, gathering and prioritizing requirements from cross-functional teams, and ensuring that our Atlassian tools align with business needs and drive operational excellence. This is a mid-level to senior role ideal for someone with hands-on experience owning enterprise-scale Atlassian implementations and collaborating with engineering, product management, and operational stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a point of contact for Jira, JSM, Confluence, and other Atlassian products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Product Management, Design, QA, Security, etc.) to gather requirements, understanding use cases, pain points and areas for improvement.
  • Translate business and technical requirements into clear epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Prioritize backlogs and manage the lifecycle of enhancements, customizations, and integrations across Atlassian tools.
  • Help drive proofs of concept on new tools, plug-ins, and integrations.
  • Communicate new features and enhancements to stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain clear, comprehensive documentation, training materials, and knowledge base articles to support and empower both internal teams and end-users in getting the most out of the Atlassian suite.
  • Drive training, onboarding, and change management initiatives.
  • Stay current with Atlassian’s roadmap, product updates, and best practices, and make proactive recommendations.
  • Measure and communicate the impact of changes and enhancements via metrics and reporting dashboards

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience in product ownership, business systems analysis, or internal tools management.
  • Deep knowledge of the Atlassian ecosystem (Jira, JSM, Confluence, etc) along with experience configuring and administering such applications.
  • Knowledge of data analytics.
  • Proven ability to manage complex stakeholder environments and conflicting priorities.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Demonstrated success in owning tool roadmaps, gathering requirements, and delivering process and productivity improvements.
  • Excellent communication skills and a knack for translating technical concepts into non-technical language.
  • Experience working in Agile oriented organizations.
  • Strong English skills both written and verbal.

We offer*:

  • Flexible working format - remote, office-based or flexible
  • A competitive salary and good compensation package
  • Personalized career growth

What you need to know about the Belfast Tech Scene

If asked to name the birthplace of the RMS Titanic, you might not say Belfast. Similarly, if asked to name Europe's leading destination for foreign direct investment in new software development, Belfast might not come to mind. Yet, both are true. The city has emerged as a tech powerhouse, recently ranked among the best in the U.K. for tech careers — especially for software developers. It also leads the U.K. with the highest percentage of software development jobs advertised.
