Role Overview

As a Product Marketing Specialist at beqom, you’ll be at the heart of our commercial success — shaping how we position, launch, and enable the market around our products.

Reporting to the Head of Product Marketing and working closely with Product, Marketing, Sales, and Services teams, you will own the tactical execution of product marketing strategy: from compelling messaging and go-to-market planning, to sales enablement and competitive positioning.

This is a role for someone who can move seamlessly between strategic thinking and hands-on delivery — and who brings a genuine curiosity about how AI can make that work sharper and faster.

What you'll be doing

Positioning & Messaging

  • Work with the Head of Product Marketing to develop and execute product marketing strategies and plans for new and existing products, timed to business priorities.
  • Create compelling, differentiated product messaging tailored to distinct buyer groups, segments, and industry verticals.
  • Develop clear campaign briefs and collaborate with demand generation on execution.
  • Ensure consistency of messaging across all customer touchpoints — website, email, sales decks, and collateral.
  • Produce high-quality sales assets including pitch decks, one-pagers, playbooks, brochures, product videos, objection-handling guides, and FAQs that support every stage of the sales cycle.
  • Maintain regular updates of competitive battlecards, objection-handling guidance, and positioning materials in response to market shifts.
  • Define and evolve beqom’s USPs in collaboration with Product, ensuring they resonate with buyer needs and market dynamics.
  • Create monthly analysis and progress reports on product marketing activity, with clear metrics and KPIs.

Sales Enablement

  • Design, coordinate, and deliver field enablement programmes that support product launches, messaging updates, and major GTM initiatives.
  • Partner with Product to roll out product updates in an actionable, field-friendly format.
  • Champion a culture of continuous learning and field empowerment across the commercial organisation through sales accreditation programmes.
  • Develop, maintain, and evolve a central library of enablement content and resources.
  • Track adoption and impact of enablement programmes and iterate based on feedback and performance data.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Act as a trusted partner to commercial colleagues, ensuring consistent articulation of product value across all touchpoints.
  • Collaborate with Product Management, Marketing, Sales, and other teams to ensure successful product launches and seamless market integration.
  • Work in close alignment with the Growth Marketing team to coordinate campaigns, sales plays, and promotional activities that build product awareness and generate leads in targeted markets.
  • Partner with Sales and Product Management to develop bespoke materials that support growth opportunities with major clients.

Skills & Experience

What you'll bring

  • Proven experience in product marketing or a closely related role in B2B tech, with a strong understanding of SaaS buyer journeys.
  • Demonstrable experience crafting messaging and supporting go-to-market for portfolio products.
  • Experience with product launches and go-to-market planning.
  • Experience supporting software product lifecycle communications including general availability and release communications.
  • Strong customer-centric mindset — able to identify pain points and translate them into compelling marketing strategies.
  • Proven stakeholder management skills, including working with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Strategic thinker with strong execution skills — you can move from idea to action with clarity and pace.
  • An AI-first mindset, actively exploring how GenAI tools can improve and accelerate your work.
  • Excellent project management and organisational skills, with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).

Bonus points if you have

  • Experience in the HR tech space or selling into HR and Finance buyers.
  • Fluent in French
  • Familiarity with compensation management, pay equity, or performance management solutions.

What you need to know about the Belfast Tech Scene

If asked to name the birthplace of the RMS Titanic, you might not say Belfast. Similarly, if asked to name Europe's leading destination for foreign direct investment in new software development, Belfast might not come to mind. Yet, both are true. The city has emerged as a tech powerhouse, recently ranked among the best in the U.K. for tech careers — especially for software developers. It also leads the U.K. with the highest percentage of software development jobs advertised.
