About Gorilla

Join us at Gorilla and be part of a mission to transform the energy industry. At Gorilla, you'll play a vital role in delivering cutting-edge data solutions for a lower-carbon future. We focus on providing efficient, reliable, and flexible SaaS solutions for data processing and analysis in the energy sector. Together, we're driving digital transformation, maximising ROI for clients, and contributing to achieving net-zero emissions through technology and data-driven insights.

Your Role

As a Product Marketing Manager at Gorilla, you’ll be a core member of the Product team and serve as the bridge between market insight, product development, and our go-to-market motion. You will be the voice of the market within the product team and a key contributor to how we bring our solutions to market.

Your mission is to uncover customer needs, validate product-market fit, and craft compelling positioning that drives product adoption and commercial success. You’ll lead research initiatives, generate insights, and collaborate across departments to support go-to-market execution and continuously refine our product narratives.

This role is ideal for a strategic and analytical thinker who thrives in a collaborative environment and loves turning deep customer understanding into impactful action.

What You’ll Do

You’ll be responsible for three core areas: market insight, go-to-market contribution, and customer engagement.

1. Problem-Solution Fit & Hypothesis Validation

  • Design and conduct deep market research to understand industry trends, buyer personas, and competitive landscapes

  • Identify and validate market opportunities through structured customer interviews and qualitative insights

  • Partner with product managers to define, test, and iterate on product concepts and value propositions

  • Deliver actionable insights that shape product and marketing strategy, including ICPs, segmentation, and problem definitions

  • Analyze customer feedback and market signals to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities

2. Market Activation

  • Contribute to product positioning and messaging that resonates with target audiences and buyer personas

  • Collaborate with product, marketing, and sales enablement teams to co-create go-to-market materials

  • Support go-to-market initiatives by aligning messaging across channels and teams

  • Provide input on launch planning and help ensure timely, effective execution

  • Monitor launch performance and feedback to inform future iterations

3. Customer Engagement & Feedback Loops

  • Engage with prospects, customers, and industry experts to gather ongoing insights

  • Conduct discovery interviews and map buyer journeys to refine personas and messaging

  • Build feedback loops that help the product team stay aligned with evolving market needs

What You’ll Need
  • Proven experience in a B2B SaaS environment, working in product marketing, product strategy, or user research roles

  • Experience working with complex products and Enterprise buyers, including navigating long sales cycles, technical buyer groups, and multiple personas

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn market data and customer feedback into actionable insights

  • Hands-on experience with qualitative research methods and structured customer interviews

  • Demonstrated success in supporting go-to-market efforts and crafting compelling value propositions

  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal

  • German language skills are a plus, but not required

  • A bias for structure, curiosity, and iteration. You’re comfortable with ambiguity and confident in shaping new ways of working

  • Familiarity with market sizing methodologies, buyer segmentation, and competitive analysis

  • A strategic mindset paired with operational excellence. Able to both think big and execute thoroughly

What you need to know about the Belfast Tech Scene

If asked to name the birthplace of the RMS Titanic, you might not say Belfast. Similarly, if asked to name Europe's leading destination for foreign direct investment in new software development, Belfast might not come to mind. Yet, both are true. The city has emerged as a tech powerhouse, recently ranked among the best in the U.K. for tech careers — especially for software developers. It also leads the U.K. with the highest percentage of software development jobs advertised.
