Role Summary:

We are looking for a dynamic Product Marketing Manager to join our growing Global Product Marketing Team. As the Product Marketing Manager for audience and vertical marketing you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our vertical expertise and driving our targeted audience awareness and consideration efforts as part of the buyer journey. You will collaborate closely with product management, sales, learning and development, and extended marketing teams to develop and execute product marketing and vertical marketing plans that effectively communicate the value of our services, solutions and platform to our target buyers.  You will be responsible for leading the development of positioning and marketing assets tailored to specific audience awareness and vertical activities, creating and implementing sales collateral and thought leadership content, and partnering with teams to drive awareness through events, webinars and external communications.  This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of market dynamics, customer needs, and competitive landscapes.

Job Scope/Supervision:

Reporting to the Director, Product Marketing, you will interact and collaborate with the Product, Sales, Learning and Development, Revenue Operations and extended marketing team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Go-to-Market Strategy:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on positioning and launch plans

Market Research and Competitive Analysis:

  • Analyze market intelligence to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitive dynamics for our services, solutions and Envision Platform
  • Study competitor products and develop competitive analysis to differentiate GTT’s products in the market

Positioning and Messaging:

  • Leverage research, industry sectors, organizations, and personas to produce targeted assets and messaging, including customized collateral to support the sales teams across the entire sales cycle
  • Create unique selling propositions by vertical that reflect viewpoints on key topics, such as buyer pain points, emerging technologies, service and solutions offered, relevant experience, and value

Sales Enablement:

  • Develop and maintain vertical collateral, including sales presentations, data sheets and web page content
  • Work closely with the sales team to develop sales tools and training materials that support effective selling
  • Collaborate with Creative Services to ensure consistent messaging across all marketing channels.

Customer Insights:

  • Gather and analyze customer feedback to inform product development and marketing strategies.
  • Help enhance customer personas and use insights to tailor marketing efforts
  • Develop strong relationships with sales and account management, acting as the link between them and product marketing, ensuring selling propositions are valid, key accounts are confirmed, materials meet brand requirements, and messaging is consistent

Performance Analysis:

  • Track and analyze the performance of launches and vertical content
  • Use data-driven insights to optimize marketing strategies and improve return on objectives and sales and revenue results
     

Required Experience/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in product and vertical marketing, preferably in the tech industry
  • Proven track record of successful product launches
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data and trends

Desirable Experience/Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment
  • Proficiency in marketing automation tools and CRM systems
