As a Product Manager, you will act as a mini-entrepreneur within the company. You will overseeing the development, enhancement, and management of our product. The successful candidate will be collaborating with cross-functional teams, understanding market trends, and ensuring that our product aligns with the company's strategy.
Responsibilities
- Lead discovery activities: customer interviews, data analysis, competitive research, and hypothesis validation.
- Prioritize the backlog based on business metrics (revenue impact, retention, adoption) and user value.
- Write and decompose requirements: PRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Collaborate daily with cross-functional teams: engineering, design, analytics, marketing and operations.
- Define and track key product metrics to ensure sustainable growth.
- Engage with stakeholders: business owners, senior leadership, payment operations and regulators.
- Participate in go-to-market processes.
- Monitor market trends, scheme rule changes, and regulatory developments in the payments and fintech space.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Product Manager / Product Owner, including at least 3 year in payments domain.
- Experience with payment orchestration systems.
- Exceptional structuring skills: ability to break down complex problems into clear frameworks and actionable plans.
- Strong command of prioritization frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with product analytics tools (e.g., Amplitude, Mixpanel, Metabase, Tableau).
- Proven ability to write PRDs, user stories, JTBD, and customer journey maps.
- Foundational understanding of payments infrastructure: payment integration, payment rails, acquiring, scheme compliance, settlement, and reconciliation.
- Experience running A/B tests and making data-driven decisions.
- Ownership mindset with the ability to operate under ambiguity and manage priority conflicts.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills; ability to bridge technical teams and business stakeholders.
- High level of user empathy combined with an analytical, data-backed mindset.
- English proficiency at B2 level or above.
