As a Product Manager, you'll define the product strategy for work management tools, oversee tool selection, gather requirements, and ensure user satisfaction across multiple teams.
Spotify’s internal teams rely on a wide range of tools to collaborate, plan, and ship high-impact work. As a Product Manager in the Work Management Tooling area, you'll be responsible for crafting the vision and strategy for how Spotifiers manage the flow of work—from early ideation through to delivery and analysis. This space is broad, spanning developer needs, project planning, knowledge sharing, and data collaboration.
We’re looking for a strongly opinionated product thinker—someone who can make strategic bets, drive clarity in a noisy space, and solve for diverse and evolving needs across engineering, product, design, and data teams. Your work will directly influence how thousands of Spotifiers plan, track, and improve their work across the organization.
What You'll Do
- Define and own the product strategy and roadmap for the Work Management Tooling space, focusing on high-impact use cases such as:
- Developer iteration and version planning
- Project and portfolio management
- Multi-functional collaboration and documentation
- Workflows for data-driven decision making and experimentation
- Evaluate and shape the suite of tools used by teams—ranging from Jira, Confluence, Coda, and GitHub Projects to Airtable, DataHub, and more.
- Prioritize AI solutions that can scale and personalize across multiple agentic platforms and MCP servers
- Gather and synthesize requirements from a wide array of internal users including engineers, analysts, designers, researchers, and leadership.
- Establish and track metrics that reflect tool adoption, user satisfaction, operational efficiency, and collaboration health.
- Prioritize ruthlessly across competing needs, balancing technical feasibility with organizational value.
- Partner closely with engineering, internal platform teams, IT, and security to ensure scalable, secure, and user-friendly solutions.
- Lead change management, communication, and enablement efforts when introducing new tools or workflows.
- Stay attuned to industry trends in productivity tooling, enterprise collaboration platforms, and work automation.
Who You Are
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field—or equivalent practical experience.
- 4+ years of product management experience, ideally in internal tools, SaaS collaboration platforms, or IT productivity ecosystems.
- Demonstrated success navigating broad, ambiguous product spaces with multiple stakeholder groups.
- Strong familiarity with modern work management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Linear, Notion, Confluence, GitHub Projects, Airtable, etc.)
- Experience designing for technical and non-technical audiences, particularly in developer and data-centric workflows.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking; comfort making decisions with imperfect data.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a knack for driving alignment across complex organizations.
- Fluency in Agile/Scrum development practices.
Where You'll Be
- This role is based in Toronto, London, or Stockholm.
- We offer you the flexibility to work where you work best! There will be some in person meetings, but still allows for flexibility to work from home.

What you need to know about the Belfast Tech Scene
If asked to name the birthplace of the RMS Titanic, you might not say Belfast. Similarly, if asked to name Europe's leading destination for foreign direct investment in new software development, Belfast might not come to mind. Yet, both are true. The city has emerged as a tech powerhouse, recently ranked among the best in the U.K. for tech careers — especially for software developers. It also leads the U.K. with the highest percentage of software development jobs advertised.
