The Role:

The mission of the Product Manager for New Verticals is to conduct thorough market research to identify, vet, and quantify new addressable markets with the goal of realizing new revenue streams for LucidLink. You will act as an internal founder, driving concepts from initial hypothesis to commercial launch and successful handoff to the core business unit.

This role can be based anywhere in the United States or United Kingdom. Note: we are a global team with over half our colleagues in Europe. As a highly cross-functional Product leader, this role will require close partnership with employees in wide-ranging geos and timezones.

Key Outcomes in the First 12-18 Months on the Job:
  • Market Research & Vetting: Research and fully vet 1 potential segment or vertical per quarter, resulting in a clear 'go/no-go' decision supported by data.

  • Successful Launches: Successfully launch 2 new verticals within the first 12-18 months in the role, meeting initial revenue and adoption targets.

  • Market Quantification: Accurately quantify the Total Addressable Market (TAM) and define the initial service model for each proposed vertical.

  • Cross-Functional Alignment: Secure executive and cross-functional buy-in for all new vertical proposals by clearly communicating the strategic value and necessary investments.

Required Competencies:
  • Relevant domain expertise in Cloud, SaaS, Storage, or Collaboration technologies

  • The ability to move beyond secondary data and actively conduct direct-to-market research (e.g., customer interviews, focus groups, field observation) to validate problem-solution fit and market demand.

  • Capable of articulating complex market research, business plans, and strategic recommendations to executive leadership in a clear, concise, and persuasive manner

  • The capability to identify, structure, and negotiate partnerships, channel strategies, or foundational agreements required to access a new market or vertical quickly

  • The ability to define a product vision, create a roadmap, and manage the full lifecycle of a new offering, especially when moving from market opportunity to first launch

Preferred Qualifications:
  • MBA Degree

  • Prior experience with file syncing/sharing services or creative workflow solutions
