Are you an experienced Product Manager?
Do you enjoy engaging with customers?
About our team
Elsevier Health applies innovation, facilitates insights, and helps drive more informed decision-making for our customers across global health. We support health providers by providing accessible, trusted evidence-based information; prepare more medical and nursing students with effective tools and resources; provide insights that help clinicians improve patient outcomes; and supports a more personalized and localized healthcare experience. All for the benefit of every patient.
About the role
We are seeking a Product Manager to lead Osmosis’ B2C product strategy, taking the lead on driving engagement, retention, and subscription growth among medical and nursing education users. You will own the end-to-end in-product experience ensuring Osmosis becomes an essential part of students’ daily study routines. In a competitive landscape where students rely on multiple learning tools, you will strengthen Osmosis’ differentiated value while closing gaps that impact adoption. Leveraging customer insight, behavioural data, and experimentation, you will optimize activation, feature adoption, conversion, and renewal - translating product improvements directly into measurable commercial impact. This is a high-impact role for a strategic product leader who understands consumer subscription growth and can turn competitive insight into experiences that drive business results.
Responsibilities
- Build a strong understanding of customer needs through regular engagement, research, and data, and use these insights to inform priorities.
- Use data from multiple sources (customer, market, usage, and revenue) to make informed product decisions and trade‑offs.
- Own and deliver one or more product features, contributing to discovery, planning, development, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to solve customer problems while meeting business goals.
- Support go‑to‑market activities by clearly communicating requirements, timelines, milestones, and outcomes to stakeholders.
- Present product progress and outcomes to internal and external stakeholders in clear, accessible ways.
- Monitor market and competitive trends to inform product improvements and future direction.
- Manage day‑to‑day product issues independently, escalating when appropriate.
Requirements
- Experience owning and delivering product features or products, from idea through release and iteration.
- Ability to use qualitative and quantitative data to inform decisions, evaluate hypotheses, and measure outcomes.
- Experience working with cross‑functional teams such as engineering, design, marketing, sales, or operations.
- Familiarity with modern product development practices (such as agile or iterative delivery approaches).
- Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with diverse audiences, including customers and stakeholders.
- Experience contributing to or supporting product launches and customer enablement activities.
- Comfort working with common tools used in product work (for example, analytics, documentation, or prototyping tools), with flexibility to learn new ones.
- Experience with digital products; experience in education or learning‑related products is a plus but not required.
- Ownership of B2C products or features and marketing-led initiatives that increased user engagement, conversion, and commercial performance.
