The Team

The Product Analytics team, part of the larger Data Team, comprises 25 members spanning 11 countries. We support over 100 product teams and, in 2024, guided the launch of 1,000 product releases.

This role is within the newly created Product Data Hub sub-team, part of the Contracts Data Unit (7 people). The sub-team currently consists of an Analytics Tech Lead and an Analytics Engineer, and is now seeking a new analyst to look after product adoption analytics.

Our mission? 

To uncover hidden patterns in product adoption data, optimizing our product offering to clients through better targeting and identifying their needs.

In this role, you will work on cross-department initiatives, collaborating with different product verticals to analyze and interpret data trends. You will be responsible for performing exploratory analytics, client profiling, and identifying product bundles that drive retention and revenue growth. You will also research adoption trends and work closely with the growth team, validating hypotheses and finding areas for improvement.

The Contracts Unit remains pivotal to Data Analytics, impacting revenue, operations, sales, marketing, and customer satisfaction. We prioritize collaboration across data teams and the broader business to build a scalable, consistent analytics structure that supports growth while keeping client satisfaction at the forefront.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Product Operations and Dev teams on different problems to create actionable insights

  • Monitor product and feature release performance, define baselines, success metrics and provide recommendations for optimisation

  • Develop/apply extensive domain knowledge in your dedicated product areas in order to proactively derive meaningful recommendations and insights that drive and inform product strategy

  • Analyze market data, identify customer behavior and trends

  • Help design and evaluate A/B tests to improve customer journeys

  • Create and promote effective self-service analytics infrastructure for your product areas

  • Develop user friendly dashboards and high quality data visualizations that drive actions and support decision making

  • Explore large and complex datasets to create actionable insights

  • Build data models in dbt with the support of Analytics Engineers to create the cleanest data structures and KPIs for your product areas

  • Make intelligent choices for the adoption of new technologies based on your extensive experience

  • Contribute to the development and growth of fellow product analysts by proactively sharing knowledge, providing mentoring, etc.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Math, Statistics, Economics or equivalent degree

  • 5+ years’ experience in product analytics team

  • Hands on experience in at least one modern BI tools (preferably Looker)

  • Proficiency in SQL and product analytics tools (mixpanel / heap / amplitude)

  • Solid experience with Data Modelling (DBT)

  • Excellent multitasking and problem-solving abilities

  • Effective communication skills and experience dealing with stakeholders of varying seniority

  • Experience with Snowflake and LookML is a plus
