The Product Costing Senior Analyst plays a crucial role in ensuring accuracy and reliability in the product costing process, with a primary focus on managing contract manufacturer billing, Bill of Materials (BoM) oversight, and cross-functional collaboration. This individual will demonstrate strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and the initiative to proactively identify and address issues. ResponsibilitiesContract Manufacturer Billing Management
- Monitor, validate, and manage the accuracy of contract manufacturer invoices.
- Reconcile discrepancies and resolve billing issues in a timely manner.
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders to streamline the billing validation process.
BoM Management
- Oversee Bill of Materials data, ensuring it is current, accurate, and aligned with production and cost standards.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Production, and Procurement teams to update and maintain BoM information.
- Identify and address any cost anomalies or errors related to BoM.
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Analyze product cost variances and investigate root causes.
- Prepare regular reports on product costs, highlighting trends and opportunities for savings.
- Provide actionable insights to management for decision-making.
Teamwork & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Foster strong relationships with peers in Manufacturing, Finance, Procurement, and Engineering.
- Actively contribute to cross-functional projects and initiatives.
- Share best practices and support the professional development of teammates.

- Stay updated on industry best practices in product costing and apply learnings to day-to-day work.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree or CPA/CMA is a plus.
- 3+ years of relevant experience in product costing, manufacturing finance, or related roles.
- Experience managing contract manufacturer relationships and processes preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High level of proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (such as SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities and drive initiatives.
- Demonstrated enthusiasm for teamwork, learning, and process improvement.
