Join our Liquidity & Balance Sheet EMEA product control team to provide support to the Cash and Liquidity product within the Securities Services business to drive business results and ensure the effective use of balance sheet, capital, liquidity, and leverage You will have the opportunity to develop your expertise, build strong relationships, and contribute to our data and analytics agenda as well.
As a Senior Associate in the Product Control team, you will be responsible for providing business advisory and accounting support, control oversight and integrity of the product revenue and balance sheet. You will be playing an instrumental role in creating the budget, forecasts and analysis of the financial results to the business as well as senior stakeholders. You should have a track record of insightful analysis and control focus, is able to learn and operate in a constantly improving environment, and to work on own initiatives/ deliver results .

Job responsibilities
- Publish weekly P&L and balance sheet commentary: include key drivers and trending analysis; MoM / WoW / Actual vs plan variance explain; client mix and macro-economic outlook
- Contribute to the monthly business review meeting for Global and regional P&L signoff
- Ensure the accuracy of quarterly earnings submissions and provide thoughtful analyses for senior management review
- Breaks reconciliation, variance explain and detailed commentary (Monthly ledger close)
- Partner with the business to drive forth and implement robust controls and new business initiatives
- Drive coordination across various business & back office support functions to ensure resolution of control and reporting issues in an accurate and timely manner
- Serve as an analytical and project support resource for product control
- Handle various ad-hoc requests on a daily basis
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Relevant years of experience within Product Control, Financial Control, Accounting, or related area
- Experience doing P&L and month end close process
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related area
- Analytical and quantitative aptitude - ability to identify and solve problems independently
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail including a strong control focus
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Solid understanding of liquidity & Balance Sheet products
- Experience with Python, SQL, Tableau, AWS, Databricks, or AI tools
