The Business Service Center at Bose Portugal is delivering global business services for all levels of the Company with high quality standards.

The Internship: Full time position, up to 9 months.

Location and schedule: Lisbon, Portugal (Av. Defensores Chaves 45, Lisboa) with Hybrid working.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reviewing/processing requisitions for products or services in Ariba and SRM.

  • Ensure requisitions are compliant with sourcing and specific strategies, policies, and procedures.

  • Maintain sourcing documentation and reference materials for use in standard operating procedures to ensure transactional work is completed in a standard manner as designed.

  • Understand and execute the end-to-end purchasing process (requisitions, purchase orders, invoice reconciliations).

  • Resolve purchase orders in Cherwell.

  • Maintain an understanding of all source-to-pay process in order to effectively communicate requirements to business partners.

  • Upload contracts to Ariba.

  • Work with category managers to facilitate issue resolution and relationship building.

  • Maintain procurement records such as item/service details, cost data, delivery history, product quality and/or performance.

  • Meet Service Level Agreement requirements.

  • Identify ongoing process improvements such as opportunities for automation and other opportunities that support efficiency gain.

We Are Looking for People With:

  • Experience and/or training in the use of Office and SAP/Ariba ERP system application (preferred);

  • High level of motivation, flexibility, strong time management and interpersonal skills to effectively manage high volume with minimal supervision.

  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.

  • Accounting experience is a plus.

  • Critical thinking skills.

  • Ability to work with other teams.

  • Accurate, careful and able to handle confidential information and documents.

  • Creative, curious, able to adapt and to analyze problems, proposing improvements.

Education & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Management, Accounting, or a related field.
