We are looking for a fast learner and hands-on Procurement Manager for Software / Know Your Customer (KYC) Partners to join Adyen's Procurement Vendor Management team, a dynamic global team within our Finance function. The goal of the team is to contribute to Adyen’s 10x ambition through sustainable commercial decisions, risk mitigation, contract and vendor management, ultimately empowering stakeholders to deliver their strategies. Initially, your focus will be on our Product Partnerships (incl. KYC) vendor portfolio, but as Adyen grows, and the Procurement team with it, this scope might change and increase in the future.
What you'll do
- You will act as a business partner to internal stakeholders such as Product Partnership Managers and the Revenue Ops and Business Enablement teams.
- You will lead and initiate vendor onboardings, contract renewals, and setting up new agreements. In parallel you will support the team on commercial negotiations.
- You will be responsible for screening, onboarding, and due diligence of new partners and vendors in your scope. You will assess and improve these processes and increase speed. You will also support audits or regulatory requests as needed.
- You will do vendor monitoring on contractual agreements, performance reviews, and strategic fit checks.
- You will be tracking and reporting on industry trends to your stakeholders and internally to your leadership.
- You will support the Product Teams with new product introductions and related vendor processing including support relationships with key vendors.
- You will first learn and then help to improve vendor onboarding processes.
Who you are
- 4-6 years of relevant experience in Software and/or Product Partnerships Procurement, including category management and sourcing.
- Experience with Product Partnership tools or compliance/security is an added advantage.
- Industry knowledge from the financial industry is preferred. Knowledge of KYC processes or compliance experience is beneficial.
- You're well-organized and like to solve problems with a pragmatic approach.
- You're data driven with an analytical mindset with strong interpersonal skills.
- You have project management skills, are resourceful, and able to work independently.
