Process Manager

Hybrid - Swindon or London

Salary - £35,000 - £40,000 + Bonus (depending on experience)


The Process Manager sits within the PayTech PMO team supporting the deployment of new internal processes and maintenance of existing ones, their application, measures and improvements.
The Process Manager is responsible for driving and monitoring PayTech process performance, enabling the organisation efficiency plans to be realized in the short and long term.


Processes created by our Process Owners will need to be effectively managed, monitored and benefits reported clearly to show case how the organisation's strategic goals are being supported. All processes will need be deployed with measurement systems which will be the responsibility of the Process Manager to follow on. The process manager will be required to train new starters and organize regular review of the process usage to keep them effective whilst PayTech positions itself to fit new markets.


In order to succeed in this mission, the Process Manager scope of responsibilities encompasses:

Process

  • Support the implementation and the controlling of business processes.
  • Manages proper monitoring and measuring of the adherence of users to processes.
  • Maintain good data quality of process impact to support the process owner review process.
  • Where possible, highlight potential defects in business processes, ensuring improvements are managed swiftly.
  • Share ideas and improvements potentials, however small and insignificant they might sound, bringing innovation to achieve business goals.
  • Manage the PI planning and outcomes in cooperation with Scrum Masters in the engineering and product teams.
  • Provide support in PI review meetings with the Executives, providing the requested views in a clean way and on time.

Training and Management of Change

  • Organise regular change surgeries where ideas can be shared, and potential changes can be discussed to enable efficient management of change.
  • Train business users that are responsible for the operation and management of various business processes.
  • Train PayTech personnel on new processes and inform them of changes to current processes.
  • Jira Align super user, managing tool changes in a control manner to keep with new business requirements.

Control

  • Carry out professional measuring and monitoring, as well as provision of feedback on performance of business processes.
  • Support the Process Owner during data collection and loss analysis.
  • Monitor and measure the benefits of post process implementation to ensure quality, efficiency, and improvement.
  • Troubleshoot issues that users have with new processes and feedback to Process Owner for further improvements.

Professional experience

  • Relevant experience in a process orientated role or involvement in improvement initiatives with measurable results.
  • Experience of managing stakeholders towards a common goal.
  • Experience in supporting / training users of a variety of skills and interests.

Education:

  • Lean Six Sigma qualifications would be of benefit or equivalent experience.

Technical skills

  • Experienced with Atlassian suite and other process tools would be of benefit.
  • Analytical ability to recognise behaviour and data patterns to be reported to the Process Owner for further improvement.
  • Strong oral and written communication.

Soft skills

  • Excellent Management of Change approach.
  • Ability to work across multiple teams.
  • Positive attitude and outlook, determined, enthusiastic and resilient.
  • Ability to multi task with different processes & multiple objectives.
  • Ability to motivate others in order to attain high change acceptance.
  • Ability to facilitate business process and monitor other members of staff towards attaining business goals.
  • High organizational abilities.
