About the role

Chime is looking for a Process Enablement Program Manager to own and drive operational excellence across our internal approvals processes. This role is an individual contributor role that sits on our Enterprise Project Management Office team where we obsess over Chime's ability to execute against our strategy. This role ensures speed, quality, and alignment across a complex network of cross-functional stakeholders, while building the infrastructure needed to scale.

In this role, you’ll lead the end-to-end approvals process, ensuring key contributors—from Legal, Compliance, and Bank Partnerships to Product, Operations, Risk and Marketing—are coordinated, unblocked, and operating with clarity. You’ll be responsible for managing process performance, driving continuous improvement, and leading automation and tooling enhancements over time. This role has broad, cross-company impact and significant exposure to teams across the business. If you’re energized by designing seamless processes, automating inefficiencies, and enabling enterprise-scale execution—you’ll thrive in this role.

The base salary offered for this role and level of experience will begin at $103,680 and up to $144,000. Full-time employees are also eligible for a bonus, competitive equity package, and benefits. The actual base salary offered may be higher, depending on your location, skills, qualifications, and experience.

In this role, you can expect to

  • Own and manage internal approvals processes, including stakeholder coordination, escalation management, and workflow governance
  • Define, track, and report on performance metrics to drive visibility, accountability, and operational insight
  • Partner closely with cross-functional leaders to align on roles, expectations, and needed process improvements
  • Create and manage training materials, documentation, and knowledge resources for internal teams
  • Gather feedback and lead continuous improvement efforts to reduce friction and improve outcomes
  • Design tooling enhancements and automation opportunities (especially in Jira), working with internal systems and data teams to bring them to life
  • Leverage AI solutions to automate and streamline processes

To thrive in this role, you have

  • 5+ years experience in process governance (e.g., new product approvals, intake/issue management, portfolio or program management)
  • Strong technical skills with Jira, Google Suite and beyond; able to build dashboards, workflows, and track complex workstreams
  • Experience with process enablement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean, Kaizen) preferred
  • Excellent communication skills—especially when aligning stakeholders or drafting process documentation and change management materials
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage competing priorities under pressure
  • Demonstrated ability to lead through influence, especially with stakeholders outside your direct team
  • A strong sense of ownership, curiosity, urgency, and a “find a way” mindset

What you need to know about the Belfast Tech Scene

If asked to name the birthplace of the RMS Titanic, you might not say Belfast. Similarly, if asked to name Europe's leading destination for foreign direct investment in new software development, Belfast might not come to mind. Yet, both are true. The city has emerged as a tech powerhouse, recently ranked among the best in the U.K. for tech careers — especially for software developers. It also leads the U.K. with the highest percentage of software development jobs advertised.
