You will work across our Data group, which is building a groundbreaking new Data Platform—mondayDB 3.0. This next-generation system is designed to scale our product’s capacity by orders of magnitude.

Please note this is a hybrid position of 3 days/week in our London office (Fitzrovia).
About The Role
You will work with experienced and highly talented engineers — who love what they do — with cutting-edge technologies in a data and impact-driven environment. We promote transparency, full ownership, teamwork, and a no-ego policy.
Our engineering department comprises different groups, each responsible for a crucial domain in the monday.com product. With over 300 engineers, we operate as part of cross-functional teams, defining, improving, building, and delivering features collaboratively.
What you will do:
- Set engineering vision, technical direction, architectural approach, and execution.
- Provide hands-on technical leadership and mentorship to the engineering teams.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders and partners in multiple areas of the monday organization.
- Contribute to product and project strategy, roadmap definition, and requirements gathering.
- Our Stack - React.JS, Redux, Node.js, Ruby on Rails, AWS, Elastic Search, Redis, MySQL
Note: Prior experience with our tech stack is not required; we welcome people willing to learn.
Requirements
- 15/20+ years of experience in software development with a proven track record of designing and building complex systems.
- 5 years of experience with design, architecture; and testing/launching software products.
- 10 years of experience building and developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, and/or experience with cloud technologies
- Broad experience in a technical leadership role, including setting technical direction.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong team player with a collaborative mindset, adept at working cross-functionally and driving alignment.
