The Role
As our Principal Product Designer, you'll lead design across our entire Web3 ecosystem, navigating the unique challenges of high-stakes trading interfaces through to engaging gaming experiences. This is a rare opportunity to shape products that span the full spectrum of Web3 entertainment and finance. Joining our senior design team, you'll work across multiple design disciplines to deliver exceptional experiences that make Web3 accessible, trustworthy, and compelling for users worldwide. You will take the lead in shaping the product experience, transforming the product strategy's vision, alongside the brand's essence and emotional tone, into well-considered, practical, and highly engaging products.
What you’ll do
Lead design across our diverse Web3 product portfolio, from sophisticated trading interfaces to immersive gaming experiences, ensuring each product maintains its unique identity while contributing to a cohesive ecosystem.
Set the quality bar as our Principal Designer, establishing design excellence across both financial and entertainment verticals, pushing each product category to deliver experiences that make traditional platforms feel dated.
Translate complex Web3 mechanics—wallets, transactions, smart contracts, provable fairness—into experiences any user can understand, whether they're executing trades or enjoying games.
Partner with engineering teams across products to ensure our ambitious visions ship successfully, balancing innovation with technical reality while maintaining consistency in our Web3 infrastructure.
Create scalable design systems that flex across dramatically different use cases—from data-heavy trading dashboards to visually rich gaming interfaces—while maintaining consistent Web3 interaction patterns.
Design for the unique states and edge cases in both domains: transaction flows, gas optimization, and cross-chain interactions for trading; game states, reward systems, and social features for gaming.
Collaborate with specialized teams including blockchain engineers, quantitative developers, game developers, and compliance to ensure designs meet diverse technical and regulatory requirements.
Champion user-first design that understands the different mindsets between traders seeking performance and gamers seeking entertainment, crafting experiences that excel in both contexts.
Build and mentor a world-class design team capable of delivering excellence across multiple product verticals.
Requirements:
Proven track record of designing engaging digital experiences across multiple product categories, with demonstrated success in either fintech/trading platforms OR gaming/entertainment products (ideally both).
Proven experience across UX, UI, and interaction design at a senior level, with a portfolio that showcases range and adaptability across different user contexts and product types.
Working knowledge of Web3 concepts (wallets, DEXs, smart contracts, NFTs) with ability to design intuitive abstractions for mainstream users.
Strong understanding of both data-driven interfaces (trading, analytics) and engagement-driven experiences (gaming, social features).
Strong prototyping skills to communicate complex interaction patterns, real-time data updates, and responsive trading experiences.
Experience leading design across multiple products or brands simultaneously, with ability to context-switch effectively.
A track record of working across the product development cycle, from initial vision and discovery through to detailed design execution.
Nice to haves
Experience in both fintech/trading AND gaming/entertainment sectors.
Background in designing marketplace or ecosystem products that connect multiple user types.
Knowledge of DeFi protocols and blockchain gaming mechanics.
Experience with both B2C consumer products and more sophisticated professional tools.
Track record of building and scaling design teams across multiple verticals.
Understanding of regulatory requirements in both financial services and gaming.

UX-only designers without strong visual design skills.
Overly minimal aesthetics that can't adapt to different contexts.
B2B or enterprise-only portfolios.
Designers who can't create both analytical clarity AND emotional excitement.
