As a Presales Content Analyst (Maternity Cover) at Kainos, you will support the process of managing, creating, storing, organising and sharing collateral that supports the business development and bid production teams. 

Your key responsibilities will include: 

  • Maintaining the content library Cataloguing, classifying and storing digital assets making sure content is accurate and up to date. 

  • Leading content generation Driving effective sales content management and distributing tailored content to our business development teams to help generate leads and drive sales. 

  • Contributing to presales productivity Owning and driving business development and marketing strategic improvement process initiatives. 

  • Content Audits Undertaking regular content audits to ensure content remains aligned to the business development team’s needs. 

  • Contributing to the content strategy – Helping define the written content strategy by recommending improvements from industry best practice, identifying necessary toolsets and methods for effective content delivery. 

  • Stakeholder ManagementProactively working as part of the presales team liaising with internal stakeholders of all levels. 

MINIMUM (ESSENTIAL) REQUIREMENTS:  

  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and excellent written English communication skills. 

  • Knowledge of content management systems and their operation with experience working with SharePoint as a document management tool. 

  • Good understanding of digital assets management techniques including taxonomies, groupings and tagging. 

  • Experience in a relevant commercial environment with broad IT experience and a sound awareness of technology and business trends. 

  • Capable of prioritising tasks to meet deadlines while operating in a highly competitive and pressurised environment. 

  • A self-starter with a can-do attitude who is highly motivated and can use their own initiative, is confident, disciplined with a drive to succeed. 

  • A proven ability to collaborate and work effectively with others in a team environment. 

DESIRABLE: 

  • Degree or Higher in IT, Sales and Marketing, Communications or a similar discipline. 

  • Previous experience of senior stakeholder engagement. 

  • Experience of proofreading ensuring content is brand aligned and compliant with good writing guidelines. 

  • Ability to cultivate ideas using creative writing while holding to messaging direction and strategy. 

  • Ability to distil complex concepts or technical information into simple, easy to understand prose targeted to a non-technical audience.
