Kaluza reimagines energy to bring net-zero within everyone’s reach. The Kaluza Platform enables energy utilities to unlock the full value of a radically changing energy system and propel us to a future where renewable energy is sustainable, affordable and accessible for all.
From automating and simplifying core operations including billing to create a lower-cost, higher-engagement experience, to optimising energy usage across smart devices in the home, we turn tough challenges into win-win-win outcomes for customers, suppliers and the energy system.
We champion a flexible, hybrid work approach and we find that teams often benefit from coming together in the office at least once a week to foster connection and accelerate progress.
Outside of these collaborative opportunities, we aim to be as flexible as possible to balance work with life. As a company we come together annually for our conference and end of year celebrations!
What will I be doing?
As a Pre-Sales Consultant for Kaluza’s Retail Energy Platform, you will be responsible for understanding the needs of prospective and existing customers and designing tailored solutions to help them achieve their organisational goals and meet a client's target outcomes.
This role will report to the Head of Client Solutions and play a direct role in sales to Kaluza’s largest clients globally. You will have broad expertise on Kaluza’s product suite, depth in particular areas and strong market knowledge of the typical legacy solutions available on the market. You will develop a good understanding of the challenges facing retailers from a client or user perspective and provide key input to the sales process.
You will play a crucial role in the technical side of a sale, evangelising the Kaluza platform and applying a consultative approach to helping customers understand the advantages of using it.
Your key responsibilities broadly include:
- Support senior consultants in developing tender responses and client proposals.
- Contribute to client discovery sessions by capturing requirements and assisting in analysis.
- Assist in the configuration and delivery of product demos and deep dives.
- Learn to map customer needs to solution components using internal frameworks.
- Build foundational knowledge of the energy retail landscape and common client challenges.
- Document follow-up actions from meetings and due diligence processes.
- Collaborate with Sales, Product, and Engineering to support deal development.
