Build and maintain reports, dashboards, and data visualizations using Power BI or Tableau. Extract and analyze data from SQL databases and Excel files, explain findings to teams and clients, troubleshoot reporting issues, and automate repetitive tasks. The role requires strong SQL skills, BI tool expertise, and conversational English for remote collaboration with global clients across varied industries.
This is a remote position.
- Share your expertise: You’re the Middle Analyst, so customers will come to you for SQL, Tableau, Power BI tips—and that’s perfectly normal.
- Master the art of data extraction: Sometimes from SQL databases, sometimes from dusty Excel files, sometimes from mild chaos (accept it as a given).
- Build reports, dashboards, and other visualizations: So that executives no longer tremble at the sight of graphs, but instead experience mild delight at their simplicity and clarity.
- Communicate with team: To explain why things might be going wrong, and then in whichever other language you prefer, how to fix them.
- Automate routine tasks: Because your valuable time shouldn’t be spent doing endless, repetitive grunt work.
Requirements
- Experience with BI tools: Power BI or Tableau
- Strong SQL proficiency (subselects, joins, the whole shebang). Without it, we get sad.
- Basic English Conversational: comfortable enough to discuss numbers and visualizations via Zoom with team (and maybe argue about the virtues of classic Earl Grey over green tea).
Benefits
- A variety of projects: trust us, you won’t be bored.
- A sane schedule: we focus on tasks, not hours—but showing up at noon every day isn’t exactly smiled upon.
- A team that values expertise and humor: yes, we occasionally crack jokes about SQL—don’t worry if you don’t laugh right away.
- Choose your adventure: Dive deep into a single, large-scale project or opt for a “discovery” mode, collaborating with multiple global clients across different domains. You can get hands-on with cutting-edge data stacks for anything from gaming and dating to skyscraper construction and nuclear energy. If variety is what you crave, you’ll find it here.

What you need to know about the Belfast Tech Scene
If asked to name the birthplace of the RMS Titanic, you might not say Belfast. Similarly, if asked to name Europe's leading destination for foreign direct investment in new software development, Belfast might not come to mind. Yet, both are true. The city has emerged as a tech powerhouse, recently ranked among the best in the U.K. for tech careers — especially for software developers. It also leads the U.K. with the highest percentage of software development jobs advertised.
