About us:

Linklaters is a global law firm, providing legal services in 20 countries and through 30 offices.

Linklaters is a people business. Being best in class in the eyes of our clients means that our people must be exceptional.

We look not only for brilliant minds, but for people who will thrive in our environment: people who love working collaboratively and demonstrate the innovative, efficient, agile, entrepreneurial, and responsible mind-set we aim to bring to every interaction.

Ours is an environment of outperformance. We achieve this not with targets and incentives, but by fostering a positive, supportive, fair, and open atmosphere.

We respect and value difference but insist on inclusivity. We celebrate all aspects of diversity and challenge any form of bias. This is vital to our ability to work as one team, with a common goal.

About the role:

We’re looking for a highly proactive and confident Personal Assistant to support two senior global leaders: the Global Director of Product Business Development and the Global Director of Marketing, both based in London and operating in a fast‑paced, international environment.

This is a varied and high‑trust role where you’ll be at the centre of complex global operations. You’ll act as a true partner to both Directors, anticipating needs, managing priorities, and ensuring their time is used effectively across multiple time zones.

In this role you will:

  • Provide end‑to‑end PA and administrative support across two busy global portfolios
  • Proactively manage complex diaries and inboxes, acting as a gatekeeper where needed
  • Coordinate internal and external meetings across multiple time zones
  • Organise all travel and logistics, including itineraries, visas and meeting schedules
  • Build strong, trusted relationships to enable autonomy and seamless support
  • Act as a key point of contact for senior stakeholders across the global business
  • Use initiative to identify tasks you can own, streamline processes and improve ways of working
  • Work closely with other senior PAs to share workload and provide cover when required

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced PA who thrives on responsibility, enjoys working at pace, and takes pride in delivering an exceptional, stakeholder‑focused service.

What we're ideally looking for:

You’ll be a confident, organised and resilient PA who is comfortable supporting senior leaders and navigating competing priorities with discretion and professionalism.

Ideally, you’ll bring:

  • At least 3 years’ experience supporting senior leaders in a PA, EA or secretarial role
  • Proven experience managing complex diaries, inboxes and global meeting schedules
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to anticipate needs and work proactively
  • Confidence communicating with senior stakeholders at all levels
  • Excellent attention to detail and a high level of confidentiality and integrity
  • Advanced skills in Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • A calm, flexible and resilient approach, with the ability to perform well under pressure
  • A collaborative mindset and willingness to support wider PA networks
  • An interest in improving processes and embracing new technology and AI tools

This role would suit someone who enjoys being trusted, values professional excellence, and thrives in a collaborative, global environment where no two days are the same.

What you need to know about the Belfast Tech Scene

If asked to name the birthplace of the RMS Titanic, you might not say Belfast. Similarly, if asked to name Europe's leading destination for foreign direct investment in new software development, Belfast might not come to mind. Yet, both are true. The city has emerged as a tech powerhouse, recently ranked among the best in the U.K. for tech careers — especially for software developers. It also leads the U.K. with the highest percentage of software development jobs advertised.
