You will support our group forecasts, contribute to our long-range financial plan, and help prepare the narrative we present to our Leadership Team. You will also be involved in analysing the changes needed in forecasts as part of high-profile strategic projects currently impacting the business.

This role is perfect for an analytical individual who enjoys translating complex data into clear insights and is keen to collaborate with stakeholders across the business.

  • Support the rolling forecast process (FP&A), preparing analysis and ensuring data accuracy.

  • Play a key role in the Monthly Finance Review (MFR) process by preparing materials and providing insightful analysis on financial performance.

  • Provide analytical support for materials presented to senior leadership, Governance Committees, and the Group Board.

  • Support the Corporate Finance Team in various initiatives such as capital and liquidity planning.

II. Stakeholder Support & Reporting

  • Assist in preparing insightful presentations for the Executive Leadership Team, clearly communicating our financial outlook and strategy.

  • Collaborate closely with the Investor Relations (IR) team to provide data and analysis for quarterly Trading Updates and external analyst presentations.

  • Work with key departments, providing financial guidance and analytical support to help drive better decision-making.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience: Experience in a relevant field such as Strategic Finance, FP&A, Corporate Finance, Investment Banking, or Management Consulting. Experience in a high-growth tech or financial services environment is a plus.

  • Analytical Rigor: A highly analytical and quantitative mindset with a keen attention to detail and a passion for working with data.

  • Communication: The ability to distill complex financial information into clear, concise, and useful insights for a variety of stakeholders.

  • Business Acumen: Good commercial awareness and an interest in understanding the key drivers of business performance.

  • Collaboration: Excellent interpersonal skills with experience working effectively with stakeholders across different functions.

Qualifications

  • Qualifications: A degree in Finance, Economics, or a related quantitative field. Progress towards a professional qualification (e.g., ACA, CIMA, CFA) is a plus.

What you need to know about the Belfast Tech Scene

If asked to name the birthplace of the RMS Titanic, you might not say Belfast. Similarly, if asked to name Europe's leading destination for foreign direct investment in new software development, Belfast might not come to mind. Yet, both are true. The city has emerged as a tech powerhouse, recently ranked among the best in the U.K. for tech careers — especially for software developers. It also leads the U.K. with the highest percentage of software development jobs advertised.
