Why Harvey

At Harvey, we’re transforming how legal and professional services operate. By combining frontier agentic AI, an enterprise-grade platform, and deep domain expertise, we’re reshaping how critical knowledge work gets done for decades to come.

This is a rare chance to help build a generational company at a true inflection point. With 1500+ customers in 60+ countries, strong product-market fit, and world-class investor support, we’re scaling fast and defining a new category in real time. The work is ambitious, the bar is high, and the opportunity for growth — personal, professional, and financial — is unmatched.

Our team moves fast, takes ownership, and is deeply committed to the mission — operating with intensity, staying close to our customers, and pushing each other for excellence. We live by three values: Decisiveness, Simplicity, and Job's Not Finished. We act quickly on clear judgment over perfect information, we believe simplicity is what scales, and we're never satisfied with where we are. If you want to do the best work of your career alongside people who share that drive, we'd love to build with you.

At Harvey, the future of professional services is being written today — and we’re just getting started.

Role Overview

Harvey is transforming how the world's best legal professionals work, and EMEA is central to that growth. We're looking for a People Business Partner (PBP) to help us scale thoughtfully—building the people infrastructure, leadership capability, and culture that will define Harvey in this region for years to come.

This is a rare opportunity to be the founding PBP for EMEA, which means you'll have significant influence over how we grow, who we hire, and what kind of organization we build. You'll partner directly with senior GTM leaders who are building something ambitious and expect their People Partner to be a true strategic advisor to help them scale effectively, lead with clarity, and foster a culture that’s ambitious, high-performing, and deeply connected to Harvey’s mission.

This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives in fast-moving environments, builds credibility quickly, and knows how to turn insight into action. You’ll be close to the work—partnering on org design, performance, and culture—while building the systems and practices that help our teams do their best work.

What You'll Do
  • Shape how we scale in EMEA. You’ll be the first PBP on the ground—building the systems, practices, and culture that define how we grow.

  • Build scalable people systems. Design and refine programs for performance, development, and progression that evolve as we grow. Partner closely with our US team to adapt core programs and design what’s right for EMEA.

  • Partner with exceptional leaders. Work alongside ambitious, high-performing GTM and business leaders who move fast and expect impact.

  • Grow something meaningful. Help scale our EMEA team, ensuring we grow with clarity, accountability, and trust.

  • Coach and develop managers. Enable leaders—from first-timers to seasoned operators—to build and lead high-performing teams.

  • Stay close to the business. Anticipate talent needs, surface insights, and drive initiatives that strengthen engagement, retention, and performance.

Lead with judgment and empathy. Manage sensitive people matters with clarity and discretion while ensuring compliance across the UK and EU.

What You Have
  • 7+ years of experience as a People Business Partner, including work with GTM or business teams.

  • A track record of turning ambiguity into structure and delivering meaningful impact.

  • Strong business judgment and an ability to connect people strategy to business outcomes.

  • Experience coaching and influencing leaders across levels and functions.

  • A builder’s mindset — practical, iterative, and focused on what drives results.

  • High EQ, sound judgment, and a calm, steady presence in fast-moving environments.

  • Experience in high-growth or global organizations.

  • Familiarity with UK/EU employment law

  • Strong program management and analytical skills.

  • Ability to work from our London office at least three days per week.

What you need to know about the Belfast Tech Scene

If asked to name the birthplace of the RMS Titanic, you might not say Belfast. Similarly, if asked to name Europe's leading destination for foreign direct investment in new software development, Belfast might not come to mind. Yet, both are true. The city has emerged as a tech powerhouse, recently ranked among the best in the U.K. for tech careers — especially for software developers. It also leads the U.K. with the highest percentage of software development jobs advertised.
