Job Description
The JPM Payments Transformation & Execution team is a global team that works with the Payments management team to develop and implement the key aspects of its global strategy. JPM Payments EMEA is looking to add additional resources to the Business Transformation & Execution team supporting the EMEA Head of JPM Payments and the Global Head of Payments Transformation & Execution in achieving business ambitions across geographies, products, and functions
Job Summary
As a Transformation and Execution Associate within the JPM Payments Transformation & Execution team, you will support the team across the five primary focus areas: JPM Business Transformation & Growth, Strategic Execution, Operating Model and Governance Transformation, Promoting Strategic Initiatives, and M&A Integration. You will collaborate with global and regional partners to build and refine an integrated strategy, design and execute key programs, promote transformation of operating models, lead strategic initiatives, and oversee integration activities, all aimed at promoting regional success and enhancing competitive positioning.
Job Responsibilities
- Support the development of an EMEA business growth strategy and assist in crafting a JPM Payments EMEA growth strategy that aligns with both global and regional priorities.
- Shape and execute a transformation strategy and contribute to the formulation and implementation of large-scale transformation efforts across the Payments Organization.
- Develop and implement strategic Roadmaps: Create detailed strategic roadmaps that outline the steps necessary to achieve business objectives, ensuring alignment with both regional and global programs.
- Conduct Market Analysis: Perform comprehensive market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats, providing insights that inform strategic decision-making and competitive positioning.
- Support the design and implementation of operating models that foster business growth, enhance operational efficiency and controls, and align with strategic objectives.
- Develop, design and execute go to market strategies and programs: Develop and implement programs to enter new client segments, and/or Markets.
- Manage program management & Cross-Functional Collaboration and work closely with various departments, including Product, Technology, Operations, and Sales, to ensure execution of strategic initiatives.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate collaboration and build relationships across diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Market Analysis Expertise: Strong analytical skills to conduct comprehensive market analysis, identifying trends, opportunities, and threats, and providing actionable insights for strategic decision-making.
  • Strategic Planning and Development: Demonstrated ability to support the development of regional strategies that align with global objectives.
  • Transformation: Experience in shaping and executing large-scale transformation strategies within a complex organizational structure, driving change and innovation.
  • Operating Model Design: Experience in supporting the design and implementation of operating models that enhance business growth, operational efficiency, and control, aligning with strategic objectives.
  • Business Development: Ability to design and execute business entry programs, facilitating expansion into new client segments, industry lines and markets.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Strong collaborative skills to work effectively with various departments, ensuring cohesive execution of strategic initiatives and seamless integration across business lines.
  • Problem-Solving: Demonstrates strong problem-solving skills, effectively addressing complex challenges and providing actionable solutions.
  • Transaction Banking Expertise: Familiarity with transaction banking, including its drivers, risks, and the regulatory and competitive environment.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
  • Experience in consulting, either in-house or external, within the banking or financial services sector, preferably in strategy or operational consulting.
