As a Product Manager in Low Value Payments, you are an integral part of the team that innovates new product offerings and leads the end-to-end product life cycle. As a core leader, you are responsible for acting as the voice of the customer and developing profitable products that provide customer value. Utilizing your deep understanding of how to get a product off the ground, you guide the successful launch of products, gather crucial feedback, and ensure top-tier client experiences. Job Responsibilities
- Develop a payments product strategy and product vision that delivers value to customers
- Manage discovery efforts and market research to uncover customer solutions and integrate them into the product roadmap
- Own, maintains, and develops a product backlog that enables development to support the overall strategic roadmap and value proposition
- Build the framework and tracks the product's key success metrics such as cost, feature and functionality, risk posture, and reliability
- Define and deliver the EMEA Payment Product strategy ensuring we achieve market leading and innovative capabilities with reduced risk and costs whilst driving increased financial profitability
- Manage P&L (Profit & Loss) ownership including accurate financial planning and delivery against revenue and expense targets
- Demonstrate a lead role in the payment industry through membership of industry working groups
- Understand the risks inherent in the product and drive programs to reduce or eliminate
- Handle incident management in close collaboration with technology and client support
- Ensure ownership of regulatory product compliance and scheme adherence
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Able to demonstrate the relevant level of experience or equivalent expertise in payments product management or a relevant domain area
- Advanced knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analytics
- Proven ability to lead product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management
- Experience in leading a low value/SEPA payments product roadmap
- Experience with and/or prior collaboration with Sales, Service, Operations and Technology
- Effective change management and strategy management experience. Ability to connect with teams to influence current state mindset, help them adapt to a changing environment.
- Proven ability to achieve quality results in a high-pressure, rapidly changing environment requiring flexibility / adaptability to changeable directives
- Ability to lead product enhancements and commercialization initiatives
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with internal and external parties
- German language fluency
- SEPA product management experience
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Demonstrated prior experience working in a highly matrixed, complex organization
- Solid track record of success in developing and implementing large-scale initiatives
