Payments Analyst (EMEA)
Leeds / Hybrid - 3 days per week in the office
We are looking for an experienced Payments Analyst to join our EMEA team. You will be joining a fast paced, high volume environment in a rapidly expanding global brand within a friendly finance team.
Here are some of the EXCITING things you’ll get to do (RESPONSIBILITIES):
- Process incoming and outgoing payments for multiple bank accounts and currencies accurately and in a timely manner.
- Maintain and update payment records in the financial system.
- Reconcile and classify payment transactions and resolve discrepancies as they arise.
- Liaise with vendors, clients, and internal departments to address payment inquiries and issues.
- Klarna & Paypal maintenance and reconciliations.
- Process payroll payments.
- Prepare payment reports and summaries for management review.
- Reconcile credit card statements and process payments.
- Monitor payment deadlines and follow up on outstanding invoices.
- Support the month-end closing process by providing necessary documentation and reports.
- Assist with audits related to payments and financial records.
- Organize and maintain generic email inbox.
- Maintain confidentiality of organizational information.
SOME OF THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE YOU'LL BRING:
- Proven experience in a payments, banking or finance role.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with accounting software.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A basic understanding of accounting principles is desirable.
