Job Description

A bit about the team and what you'll deliver...

Reporting to the Commercial Director, MEA, we are looking for a Partnerships Manager to join the team in South Africa. You will be responsible for acting as the primary point of contact between the company and its partners, facilitating effective communication and managing our existing regional partnerships. You will establish and nurture new partner relationships and ensure that partner strategies align with company goals and objectives for mutual benefit.

As a Partnerships Manager your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing Existing Partnerships: Overseeing current partner relationships to ensure they are effective, sustainable, and aligned with the company's objectives.
  • Developing New Partnerships: Identifying, recruiting, and negotiating deals with new partners to expand the company's reach and capabilities.
  • Collaborating Cross-Functionally: Working with sales, marketing, product, and development teams to develop partnership strategies and ensure successful integration and execution of partnership initiatives.
  • Driving Partner Engagement: Creating and implementing strategies to engage partners, including onboarding, training, and co-marketing campaigns, to maximize mutual benefits.
  • Monitoring Performance: Tracking and analysing partnership performance, ensuring alignment with business goals, and making data-driven decisions to optimize outcomes.
  • Strategic partner prospects and where applicable support the establishment of these relationships.

  • Negotiation: Strong negotiation skills to manage contracts and agreements.

  • Project Management: Skills to manage multiple partners and initiatives simultaneously.
  • Market Knowledge: Understanding of industry trends and market dynamics.
  • Customer Focus: Strong focus on customer satisfaction and partner success.
  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and new challenges.

Experience

  • preferred experience in Security products and / or telecom devices/ services
  • demonstrable Partner Management experience at a Technology company
  • Relevant Industry experience
  • Background in Sales, Business development or Customer success
  • Experience in managing projects or coordinating cross-functional teams.

Knowledge

  • must have a strong understanding of mobile device ecosystem, service providers, and mobile app protection
  • Must have a strong understanding of security solutions

Qualifications

  • Degree, MBA or relevant experience
