JOB PURPOSE

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Team Lead – Order Management to oversee and guide our order management team. This leadership role is pivotal in ensuring operational excellence, driving team performance, and maintaining a seamless end-to-end order process. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in supply chain operations, exceptional organizational skills, and a passion for mentoring and developing talent. WHAT YOU’LL DO

As the Team Lead, you will be responsible for both strategic oversight and hands-on execution in the following areas:

Leadership & Team Management
  • Lead, mentor, and support a team of Order Management Associates.
  • Set clear goals and performance expectations, conducting regular reviews and feedback sessions.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team.
  • Act as the primary escalation point for complex order issues and client concerns.
Operational Oversight
  • Oversee the end-to-end order management process, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
  • Monitor team workload and reallocate resources as needed to meet deadlines and service levels.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
Client & Vendor Coordination
  • Ensure client purchase orders are acknowledged and processed promptly.
  • Review and approve vendor purchase orders, ensuring all specifications and timelines are met.
  • Maintain strong relationships with vendors to negotiate favorable terms and resolve issues.
Logistics & Quality Assurance
  • Supervise inbound and outbound shipment tracking, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Oversee the creation of picking and logistics tickets aligned with project timelines.
  • Implement quality control measures to minimize errors and ensure client satisfaction.
Reporting & Analysis
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and report on team productivity and order accuracy.
  • Analyze order trends and identify opportunities for cost savings and process optimization.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
  • Proven experience in order management or supply chain operations, with leadership responsibilities.
  • Strong understanding of procurement and logistics processes.
  • Experience using procurement and ERP software (e.g., Sage X3, Jira).
  • Excellent analytical and numeracy skills.
  • Advanced time management and prioritization abilities.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-moving, global organization.
PREFERRED SKILLS
  • Experience in Audio Visual / Video Conferencing and Networking environments.
  • Familiarity with Cisco CCW and related platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive progress and keep stakeholders informed.
  • Resilience under pressure and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
