As National Account Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive business plan that achieves revenue, profit and market share targets while fostering a collaborative partnership with our customers supporting small and major appliances.
The candidate will own and manage all aspects of their business and be the key point of contact for all account activity externally and internally. He or She will be responsible to build strong relationships with cross functional teams (supply chain, marketing, finance, etc...) to facilitate customer engagement and achieve organizational objectives.
The salary range for this role is expected to be between $98,000 to $135,000 and reflects base salary only. Actual pay will be determined based on a number of factors and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, competencies, qualifications, relevant skills and experience.
The total rewards package for a Regular Full-Time employee may include a variable incentive, savings matching (RRSP/TFSA/NRSP), extended health and dental benefits with spending accounts, wellness and well-being benefits, development opportunities, and other employee perks.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Maximize revenue, profit and market share targets by planning and executing the sales strategy and plan optimized for the selected channel account.
  • Develop new channels of distribution.
  • Build and cultivate customer relationships to enable engagement with cross functional teams.
  • Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders.
  • Expand and grow the Samsung Brand utilizing account specific go to market initiatives and driving the full assortment.
  • Develop and implement robust tactical strategies to achieve targets, while managing budgets, forecasts and other KPI’s.
  • Collaborate with customers on joint business planning, brand management, in-store merchandising and retail sales execution.
  • Analyze market trends, industry information, competitor initiatives to maximize competitiveness, revenue and profit targets.
  • Make product presentations, both new product introductions and present product offering to customers and prospects as prescribed by the Company sales guidelines.

Skills and Qualifications

Requirements

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Knowledge:

  • Must be a dynamic and self-motivated individual that is results oriented with a winning attitude.
  • Intimate knowledge of the appliance industry.
  • Detailed knowledge of the retail industry.
  • Solid financial analysis aptitude with excellent negotiation skills.
  • Strong relationships management.
  • Robust organizational, presentation, written, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and other software products.

Experience:

  • 7+ years of sales or trade experience.
  • Experience in the appliance industry is preferred.
  • Experience with National Accounts is an asset.

Travel:

  • This role requires travel.
