Team/Role Overview

Markets Shared Controls Group sits within the Controls organization of Markets supporting Markets asset classes globally through efficient execution of controls/activities across regions, product, and risk category. You will work on a range of activities to support the day to day running of our global Markets business.  You will be central to managing risk and executing controls in a fast-paced business. You’ll work alongside subject matter experts looking for opportunities to enhance processes and use technology to automate activities.

What you’ll do

This role will require interaction with global business partners and support teams (Technology, Compliance, Risk and Control, Human Resources, external contacts within European Exchanges) for timely escalation and remediation of issues, continued drive towards efficiency and closure of any control gaps.

  • Assist in liaising with front office contacts and contribute to establishing positive relationships with internal partners in relation to setting up their profiles in European Exchanges.

  • Collaborate with various business units to support trader registrations

  • Contribute to working as part of a global team, monitoring controls, providing oversight, and escalating issues as needed.

  • Observe and learn to identify potential opportunities to optimize and streamline processes, proposing initial ideas for improvement.

What we’ll need from you

  • You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • You are a fast-learner and have good organizational skills

  • You have excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills

  • You have the ability to influence and manage relationships

  • You can demonstrate expertise of Microsoft Office product suite and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint preferred.

  • You enjoy working as part of a high performing team
