Description

We're looking for a content creator to join our Marine team working across all of the sailing brands, Yachting World, Yachting Monthly and Practical Boat Owner. You'll create engaging, high-quality content across all platforms, including magazines and digital to increase audience reach and growth.

What you'll be doing

You'll write compelling and original articles, features, and stories that align with brand values and audience interests for both magazine and digital platforms.

You'll ensure all digital content is optimised for SEO, utilising best practices for keywords, metadata, and readability to grow traffic and engagement. You'll conduct in-depth research on a variety of topics, and upload and format articles, images, and multimedia content within the CMS, following deadlines and publication schedules.

Experience that will put you ahead of the curve

  • Knowledge of sailing, boats and cruising
  • Background in writing content
  • Familiarity with SEO principles and tools such as Google Analytics
  • Comfortable navigating publishing software, content management systems (CMS) and working with digital platforms.
  • Video and audio editing skills are an advantage
