Our Platforms & Engineering Marketing Technology team manages the customer data that Pfizer collects from its integrated websites, mobile apps and marketing platforms. We have a range of services including Identity, Consent Management, a fully-fledged CDP (Salesforce Data Cloud) and CRM (Marketing Cloud) as well as a range of subsidiary services and tool, e.g. analytics. Our platform has evolved over 10 years to send millions of emails and manage billions of customer interactions and events.
Our mission for the coming years is to migrate from fragmented legacy implementations to a coherent customer-centric ecosystem of services built around Salesforce's products. - Lead and manage moderately complex projects, ensuring effective use of time and resources.
- Apply specialized skills and knowledge to contribute to departmental work and decision-making.
- Independently resolve moderately complex problems and develop new solutions in ambiguous situations.
- Review your work and mentor colleagues, providing directional guidance and feedback.
- Develop, test, debug, document, implement, and maintain robust software solutions for business needs.
- Guide operational teams in project management, resource forecasting, and identifying improvement areas.
- Facilitate agreements and ensure alignment between different teams within the Pfizer Digital organization.
- Foster a culture of Continuous Improvement by initiating and monitoring technical and organizational projects.
- Manage contract resources to deliver technology solutions that meet business needs and provide technical direction to support teams.
- Collaborate with global digital services, manage UX activities, and drive application rationalization to streamline local applications.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
- 4+ years' experience in web and software development.
- Experience in Laravel, PHP and associated PHP frameworks, JavaScript, Vue, Terraform, Auth0, CIAM technologies.
- Demonstrated knowledge of basic web technologies, such as REST, HTML, and CSS.
- Experience in modern software development technologies, including distributed versioning systems, continuous integration/deployment, automated testing and Agile programming practices.
- Ability to work independently and multi-task effectively.
- Flexible and willing to accept a change in priorities as necessary.
- Strong attention to detail with high standards of quality and customer value.
- Self-motivated and proactive with the ability to take ownership of issues.
- Demonstrated experience in successfully designing, delivering, and maintaining Information Technology business solutions.
- Hands-on experience in developing and deploying analytical platforms.
- Deep understanding of web-based technologies and concepts.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships and deliver effective presentations to a variety of audiences.
- Effective organization and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and multi-task effectively.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Relevant technical experience with emphasis on software development and maintenance.
- Experience with developing solutions aimed at medical professionals.
- Experience in the Pharma industry desirable.
- Working knowledge of Jira, GitHub, Docker, GitHub Copilot, Terraform.
- Experience with AWS and demonstrated understanding of cloud application architectures (We heavily leverage AWS and experience of its services and how to use them is a definite bonus).
- Experience with Salesforce.com, Snowflake, OneTrust.
- High proficiency and proven successful delivery of experiences using Agile development, especially scaled agile and lean techniques and methodologies.
