What You’ll Be Doing:
You will manage six to eight highly motivated engineers, lead them through change, and help them to grow even further
You will lead a Core Features team in the Camunda 8 Core Platform area:
Building process automation end user features end-to-end, in the form of UIs and/or APIs
Spanning the BPMN process engine, the API layer, and web application UIs
You make sure to closely align and relate your team’s work with the company's objectives, and provide clarity on priorities to allow your team to focus on what matters most
You come with, and build up relevant technical and domain knowledge to drive decision-making processes, involving perspectives of relevant stakeholders and your own judgment
You manage your teams’ delivery contributing towards the product roadmap while also taking operational responsibility for your team’s deliverables within our SaaS offering and through support cases from Self-Managed setups

What You Bring:
Ability and/or willingness to use our product
Excellent project management skills and experience leading agile rituals
Experience leading teams that work on, and build for distributed platforms
Ability to quickly pick up on core technical concepts and guide engineers
You thrive in taking ownership of the codebase, as well as how you deploy and operate software. You are comfortable with the “you build it, you run it” mindset.
Strong familiarity with Java and the Java ecosystem
2+ years of people management
Nice-to-haves:
Experience with developing and evolving productized REST APIs
Experience with BPMN and process automation technology

What We Have to Offer:
Compensation
We offer competitive, fair, and transparent compensation. Salary ranges are location-based, with Standard and Major markets (global tech hubs) reflecting local competition.
The Annual Total Target Cash (base salary + 100% variable target, where applicable) shown below spans from the minimum in a Standard market to the maximum in a Major market. Final offers depend on skills, experience, and location, and we typically hire in the first half of the range to allow room for growth:
United States: $172,600 to $284,800
Germany: €111,500 to €184,500
United Kingdom: £108,400 to £178,300
Singapore: S$214,400 to S$321,500
If you’re based elsewhere, you’ll be hired via Remote.com (our global employer partner), and your Talent Acquisition Partner will provide a personalized Total Rewards Calculator after your first interview.
