ROLE SUMMARY
The Manager, Adoption, Value Metrics & Tech Standards is accountable for providing support in analytics and technology adoption, leveraging comprehensive expertise in their discipline and a solid understanding of related fields. This role guides and may lead moderately complex projects, influencing departmental priorities and outcomes. The manager develops innovative solutions to resolve complex challenges, applies sound judgment and experience to independently address problems, and takes calculated risks to advance new concepts. By serving as a technical resource, the manager recommends improvements, collaborates across teams, and ensures that data-driven insights translate into actionable recommendations for senior stakeholders. This role will report directly to the Director, Adoption, Value Metrics & Tech Standards.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Adoption

  • Provide strong project management and collaboration to drive cross-functional efficiency and re-use, while supporting business goals across EA, Support & Services.
  • Maintain and support EA document development, best practices and tech standards across the Architecture team and key stakeholder organizations.
  • Collaborate closely with enterprise architects and the larger AVS team to translate analytical findings into clear, meaningful recommendations that drive strategic decisions and continuous improvement.
  • Support execution of TechForward event for all Digital and Technology.

Communications
  • Draft and execute monthly communications and newsletters on ea.pfizer.com that influence priorities and outcomes across the department, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture principles and digital strategy.
  • Support communications planning across Digital & Technology, ensuring that the approach aligns with and is driven by EA priorities in a balanced and strategic manner.

Metrics & Reporting
  • Maintain innovative metrics frameworks, and provide solution options that impact technology adoption, value realization, and technology standards evolution success-including dashboards and reports that track progress, adoption, and performance of EA initiatives.
  • Exercise sound judgment in selecting analytical methods, interpreting data, and shaping recommendations-working independently on complex problems while seeking input as needed.
  • Apply comprehensive knowledge of analytics and data visualization to serve as a technical resource and recommend improvements that enhance decision‑making across the organization.
  • Experiment with new techniques that elevate the maturity of insights and technology governance.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree (BS or BA) with higher academic qualification/degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact.
  • A curious and highly motivated self-starter who can work effectively across cross-functional teams and can independently drive progress toward completion with proper planning and management
  • Ability to synthesize data into clear insights and actionable recommendations.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Proven track record in process improvement, workflow optimization, and project management.
  • Power BI, Excel (advanced), and PowerPoint.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience on agile/scrum team a plus
  • Experience with Office365 SharePoint and Salesforce.com reports a plus

NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS
  • 10-20% - Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed
