Hours: 40 hours per week 

Location: Hybrid with 3 days in our Romsey (near Southampton) site per week and occasional travel to other depots in the region

What you’ll be doing:


You will provide strong financial support to the Industrial Services business unit within Veolia UK, principally from the office in Romsey, near Southampton. To be a member of the Finance team working closely with the operational business.


  • Working with operational management to deliver accurate financial information 
  • Production and analysis of monthly management accounts
  • Preparation of Balance sheet reconciliations & checklists
  • Preparation of forecasts, budgets and Long Term Plan in conjunction with the Operations Managers & Directors, the Finance Manager and Financial Controller
  • Control and reporting of capital expenditure
  • Financial analysis of operational data and KPIs
  • Corporate governance financial model assistance
  • Post investment financial review and analysis of long term financial performance
  • Other ad hoc requirements of the business unit

What we’re looking for:


  • A fully qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA Accountant with previous relevant experience
  • Previous experience business partnering preferable
  • Good working knowledge of spreadsheets
  • Broad system skills preferably with working knowledge of Workday desirable but not essential
  • Strong presentation, communication and organisational skills
